Support for fundraising was straightforward again this year, and further funds may still be needed depending on how ambitious the plan to sell Fruitflow Plus products directly turns out to be. Meantime, $2.3 billion company By Health have plans to put several Fruitflow products out through their retail chain in China. Other days will see a lot more trades, just because there are a few days where trading is light is of zero consequence.

Without making a lot of fuss about it, the group continues to strengthen. A business that can generate cash enough to grow by acquisition, reduce bank borrowings, and raise dividend payments to shareholders, all at the same time, has to be a very well run enterprise. A big "well done" to them.

Take the brand from being little more than a cottage industry, expand it to a global brand using state of the art manufacturing capability and lab research. Nothing has ever been hidden. Only an utter fool could imagine that no investment would be needed. The result so far has been double digit growth year on year, with the early phases, UK manufacturing then European market entry, on the verge of contributing (sane) profits. Where is that a shables?

The main backers bought shares doubtless in the knowledge that the plan wasn't to stay making the product in the owner's mum's kitchen and selling to Lancashire cyclists though Mutt. No doubt you can come up with a way to expand across the globe without spending money, perhaps a fleet of Granville bikes? Yes, agreed, more money may be needed, although the establishment costs for the current new countries are contained in this period. Future big spend will depend if they are looking at other global markets. As they haven't said they are, perhaps this was the peak expenditure. At the end, you buy nothing as far as anyone can see, you exist only to troll companies. Why is that?

Cost of becoming a global brand bears heavily on this period, so I expect the usual detractors to comment. Main sales area becoming profitable in the next period is good news, revenue growth continues, gross profit margin exceptionally good. If overseas markets respond to the investment, SiS will become a sizeable business. £30/40/50 m turnover possible ? Time will tell.
