It was a close @ approx 108p that was required as of Friday, although with the FTSE 250 having dropped 1.69% today some of the other constituents' market caps have probably fallen, and so PMO might just squeeze in. 10 mins to go....

TR61, The turnaround was at a rapid pace, but there is usually an overreaction before it goes back the other way. Guess you need to ask yourself what you think will happen longer term with the OP and PMO. In my view both will work out positive. Depends if you have a longer or shorter term view though! Nobody likes to sit on a loss!!

TR61, Don't you think all their comments are deliberate and calculated? Don't you think it's possible that 'certain people' have a prior knowledge of upcoming announcements? Surely such things don't go on?! Make the best of it.

On first glance, for such an early stage explorer, the m/cap here looks rather high. Must be the huge asset and takeover talk that is keeping it so high. Presumably looking at several hundred million to develop a mine, so a farm-out or take-out the preferred options...

Yes, from what I'm gathering the CEO likes to prove up resources before selling them on, but this time it looks like he's pretending he'll take it to production - perhaps to buy some time for further drilling and resource delineation, before attracting a higher offer!

The oil price has been on a sustained upward trajectory since July 2017 - look at a chart! Oil usually tends to overshoot, and with the OPEC over-compliance, there could now be a cooling off period coming. If so, PMO SP will also cool off for a period. Lots of risk still in the air though with Iran and Trump being wildcards that could swing things either way on a whim. Happy to be out for a while. See what happens.

TR61 If it can go up 7.5% in a day, then just as easy (easier?!) to drop by the same amount in a day. Clearly the oil price is giving PMO the impetus to fall after the spectacular rise recently. It's only natural to take a breather. Not the first time PMO has dropped after a rapid rise.
