Far too many in the media and on here spreading fear that PMO were going to be spending 3 BILLION on the whole of Chevron's saleable North Sea assets. (Surprise, surprise, and you know who you are!)

Maybe PMO will spend a couple of hundred mil' and pick up a tasty slice of what is on offer. Or go into a partnership on a single field with a larger player. There could be any number of potential deal types to come out of this.

I doubt PMO are in any state currently, with a depressed SP, to do a rights issue, and the banks are unlikely to let them over-spend without some certainty that it will be good for the business overall, and not hamper current debt repayment plans. More fear-mongering, I fear.

It's simple - money buys influence. It's a dirty game.

There are uncountable instances of a 'planted' story in the media to influence the share price of a public company - saw this numerous times historically on AIM companies, and here we are now with a FTSE250 company being played. Of course the regulators are either too dumb, under-resourced, or don't care enough to stop it.

Maybe some journalist hack at Reuters has a few rich mates that work at Goldmans who are playing PMO and they asked him to drop a negatively tinged article into the press, perhaps in return for an all-expenses paid luxury weekend somewhere? Or the real players of PMO will be one or two steps away from the journalist, and exert the influence indirectly so there is no 'trail' left behind. You can be sure this kind of thing goes on.

Some arseholes who are shorting this, are making up dramatic negative headlines to keep PMO under control.

I'd hardly call my post trolling, just asking for clarification of your earlier statements.

Speaking of trolling, I would suggest that the majority of your posts, particularly those in relation to the CEO, would be better classed as such, with some comments even borderline libel.

Your posts of late seem to blow hot and cold in relation to PMO depending on whether you're out, or 'in large', which leaves one wondering if you are in some way related to the Silly Kraut given the similarity of his past (now filtered) ranting.

Why's that?

Stock prices move when people buy and sell with a bias on price in either direction. If the bias is not particularly large in the buy direction then why should PMO's share price be up 8-10%?

Friday afternoon shake down underway...

PMO will not develop SeaLion on their own, even if they have the funds to do it, there's just too much risk.

Not many 100% operated oil fields out there - it's much more common to farm out and spread your risk. PMO are not big enough to handle SeaLion by themselves.

There will obviously be short term factors that influence PMO SP, such as Zama news, debt reduction etc, so I wouldn't say it's an exact mapping, but the overall long term trend is in line with Brent.

PMO won't rise unless Olivia does same.

Look at a historical price chart of PMO overlaid with Brent and all will become apparent.
