The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
There are going to be thousands of these millennials who bought into Gamestop who are going to get thoroughly spiked when its drops back down like a stone as they all start to sell and there is a sudden rush for the door (today/tomorrow?)
The camaraderie is great when the rush is on and they are battering the greedy hedge funds, but it will all end in tears when they start looking at their account balance in the coming days.
Caveat emptor, as they say!
Great volatility in oil lately - perfect for trading long and short.
It's like being down the casino at the roulette wheel !! red or black, up or down...
Maybe cos of the copper price?!

The deramping Ferret's prediction of 15p might be right for this dog!!
Antigua,
Probably because those in authority likely benefit from maintaining the status quo - many of whom will be sitting on boards as non-exec directors of these companies, creaming off salaries for doing little, or receiving back-handers for any number of 'favours'.
As my old man would say "it's all a racket"!
Still, if we are lucky, we can also benefit.
Olivia down, but could bounce up off the bottom of the uptrend channel which has been in play since November - bounce could be in the next hour, unless it breaks out to the downside.
Managed to open a nice short on Brent last night just as the Asian markets opened. 120+ points and counting...
Dave,
This is true, but PMO is in limbo until the merger deal completes at the end of March and likely has a ceiling price around 22p, unless oil decides to go much higher.
Until the deal is finalised, PMO is a trader's plaything - which is OK by me - gives us long-term PMO traders another stab at making a few bucks before this turns into a larger entity.
Olivia wants to pull back - she's been on a steady rise since November. Feels like it needs a good $5 drop for a period.
If so, expect all oilers to follow suit.
"Later Opening time (No more Trading at 8am, or waking up to nasty surpises)"
Can't argue with that!!
"I also know that the green dream is mostly B.S."
Indeed, but that won't stop the green movement from pushing forward. More power to it, if you'll pardon the pun! :)
Copper stocks should do well.
Releasing a $2tn relief package later today apparently...
Smashed through on Asia opening... See how it pans out by the morning.
Squid!
Damp, yes, totally agree ;-)
Damp squid then!
Saudi news about reducing production, no?
The last 8 "Holdings" RNS have been from Goldman Sux.
The fact that they have their grubby mitts on this, however indirectly, is likely to be the reason this is being held down.
Blade,
Price of oil is relevant to Premier - only when it's falling!
Woof!!
Who said we would be listing in the FTSE 100 when the deal goes through?
The webcast presentation states upper quartile of the FTSE 250.
Guess they are being more realistic than comparing to Lundin/Aker BP, as per posters here?
Who is likely to be more informed? Hmmm...
Share price should have gone up by at least 20p today given that Mr Durrant has stepped aside...
