Apple102 - UET changed to their Reflex module sized system about 18 months ago - this is not dissimilar to the Invinity VRFB modules - i.e. less than the size of a container but big enough to still need a forklift to move around. The advantage of these is that they can be shipped already full of electrolyte.
The original UET battery under test was a container based system - which is exactly the sort of thing that you would like to be making really large installations out of - unless of course you really want to go the whole hog and build a fabulous building in the middle of a city to put the system in, and then you can dispense with all the cost and trouble of containerisation and simply install tanks and power stacks.
Anyway the point is that Eskom are going to want containerised systems, and they have already successfully tested a UET containerised system.
