I believe that the share buy of qty 1 at 25.1 failed to win the auction because there was a larger quantity trade at 24.6.

and as predicted we have someone trying to buy 1 share at 15.1 in the auction at present

kevkan I hope not as I think the after hours trades with elevated prices are simply there to deceive those who might try trading the share.

Yesterday the end day mid price was 23.75 but a couple of smallish after hours trades apparently get the end day SP reported as 24.2p

Thus the rise from the tuesday's end of 22.35 was reported as 8.3% and not the true figure of 6.3%.

Likewise if the SP finishes today where it is then the day on day increase should be 3.6% and not the 1.65% that is currently showing.

The reality is that the SP is appreciating incredibly robustly but someone is trying to paint it as running out of steam just at the point that the previous high is achieved. Is this pure coincidence ? You decide.

StockLife - that is not a gap that is simply the market makers moving the price up in response to early buying, then spending the rest of the day trying to pay less for the shares than they just sold them for. It didn't work yesterday and there were subsequent rises later in the day also as they tried to increase their average price of sold shares. If they don't do that they can never get anyone to sell to them.

We are currently going from an unknown and relatively illiquid situation to one where we have much greater exposure to cashflows that would correct any market misvaluation.

Raz10 - of course the over the top day end price of 24.2p yesterday may have given the short term impression that the train is slowing down, but still it is going along with gusto and jumping off now risks hit the ground at speed before the platform is even approached.

As was pointed out earlier this week we are perhaps only just getting to the first bend of lap 2 of the 1500m.
