Wolfman Jack - it depends whether they just want to have a stake in a Vanadium mine or whether they actually want to get some exposure to the VRFB side of the business as well. We will be able to appreciate what they know on the inside by whether they jump at the chance of getting a piece of the latter action or just want to play it safe and take the Vametco profits that of course BMN is in control of generating.

It is not beyond the bounds of possibility that the transfer price for Vanadium Oxide from Vametco to Bushveld Energy for electrolyte production may end up being a lot lower than the final price for saleable Nitrovan to external customers. It is a question of how keen the controllers of Vametco (that is us) wish to encourage the VRFB business.

BBN - there's some that will look at your GBP 9m figure and not bother to appreciate that this being in the past was for 10 months at V prices of USD $33/KgV.

For a year of 12 months the GBP 9M would of course become GBP 10.8M

With production for this year at 3680 T that is 39% higher in the very worst case of no costs being fixed but all varying proportional to production this would take GBP 10.8M to GBP 15M.

Now at average prices over this year being at USD 63/KgV that is an extra USD 30/KgV clear profit. This is GBP 22.9 /KgV. Our 59.1% of 3680 Tonnes would add another GBP 49.8M profit taking the total to just under GBP 65M before tax.

raffym - the simple fact is that until there are published profit figures for BMN 95% of the world does not know about it. Only a tiny fraction of investors are aware of the real situation. There's a million other companies out there occupying their attention, trouble is 99.9% are not as good as this one. You really are lucky.

Tyfoon - yep the key is unlocking the cashflow from Vametco, now that it is there, this is what part of the previous placing was destined for. When all the dominoes are lined up it will come.

Tyfoon - of course the company has intimated that they don't need to go for the whole processing hog at Mokopane immediately but could instead just mine and concentrate and despatch the concentrate to those in need (see 2017 AR)

Remember that the concentrator capex was calculated at only 34.6M USD, whilst the salt roast plant would be an additional 147.8M.

If BMN wished to get started simply by building a mine (3.4M for mine + 28.3M USD shared infrastructure) and concentrator plant (34.6M) - then they could do this for a total of 66M USD.

They could do this quite simply with this years earnings from Vametco.

kev - to some extent, but RESEARCH IS A NECESSITY and anyone who had done their research would have found this board and the Bushveld Perspective and would not have been so easily taken in by any nonsense.

The only people I do feel sorry for are those that were unaware that if they place stop-loss instructions that the Market Makers see these and can arbitrarily drop the share price so that they are triggered. Kerching cheap shares !

For the avoidance of doubt everyone should avoid stop-loss instructions as they are essentially a license to get mugged - how can we make this point clearer so those doing proper research are aware ?
