Squirty - of course there is no immediate need to have ELIDZ up and running. I am of the view that the electrolyte supplied to Avalon was processed by a third party using Vanadium supplied by us so there is no reason not to use that approach before our own plant is completed

Lindon - fortune has been very clear that the expansion of production at Vametco and Vanchem to 10,000 tpa is not dependent upon VRFB takeup but is instead strongly rooted in the increased use of Vanadium in steel production. This increased production is not going to come from coproducers but instead must come from primary producers. Where are the new processing plants and mines ? Correct there are no new ones coming on stream in the next 3-5 years so it is pretty much all going to have to come from BMN, Largo and Glencore's Rhovan.

Halespur - I do not think that it is possible to compare the sell down rate of the 41M versus the selldown rate in the last 15 months. For one the SP is around 3 times higher. Secondly we don't know if it is 50M or 15M or 150M so any calculations would be based upon a huge unknown which I would not be prepared to stake any part of my reputation on.

The 41M selling was a clear number from a group that could have been expected to cash out asap (it was Erongo's payday) and the blocks being sold were systematically identifiable in a way that cannot be said over the entire course of the last 15 months.

Basilbush - if you invested at 11p then it will have been exactly the same time as 150 Million shares were placed out at a price of 10.3p. Those placees have received over 100% profit. Even if only 1/3rd of them have decided to sell since November 2018 that is still 50 Million shares at an average sale price of 35p. That is roughly 17 million pounds worth that needs to be absorbed by private investors, as they are the only ones on the ball enough right now to see what is staring them in the face.

17 millions pounds worth is 350 times 50 grand. Do you think that every single trading day since Nov 2018 we have managed to find a new PI ready to buy 50 grands worth of BMN shares ?

Brad29 - no it is likely that that trade will be repeated at the end of the day at exactly the same price +/- a small increment - these end day trade pairs appear to be associated with positions held on Spreadbet platforms or other 'dark' markets
