What's Putin going to do with the Donbas if he manages to take it all? Its pretty much depopulated, towns and cities completely destroyed, probably one of the most mined areas in the world. On top of all that he pretty much gone through all Russia's sovereign wealth and killed or wounded a million of his own people. In the last 2 years he's only taken around 1% of Ukrainian territory. Anyone who thinks that's winning is brain dead.

I think there’s zero chance of a peace deal. If Putin thinks he’s advancing on the battlefield and Ukraine wont give up territory then how are they going to agree? Putin would rather drag it out and hope he divides Europe and America.

The EU can and should block this deal. In fact its not even a deal. Its the Russian demands written down on paper by Witkoff. If the Americans had any influence on this so called deal maybe someone could tell me what it is? And why should Ukraine limit the size of their armed forces? Does Finland have to limit the size of their armed forces? Does China? These countries border Russian to. This surrender stinks and shouldn't even be entertained by anyone. American incompetence.
