Certainly seems that way mate. I've not inspected closely but haven't seen this under 20p for a long time, wonder why the down day on Friday... Non of those holdings had reduced, in fact one paid slightly more on the spread to keep their holding the same.
Yeah I agree. The more I see these other companies on the market rise then subsequently fall, the more I like the idea of companies like this. No drama and seems to be well run as you say. Very much glad for you and all holders. I think it's fair to say still under the "radar"?
Looks interesting. If I recall correctly, I remember you both mentioning JSJS as a little secret many many months ago! All the best here.
I must say, this has held very well during the recent market wide drop. A nice opportunity indeed, I still don't have anything back in here though. I would like to however do not have long term capital available, it is in others as with you. Time really is a luxury to have on this these markets, probably harder to have then the capital it self! All the best mate, still watching with interest.
Nice call whatcher! Got the Nandi update after all, bit slower than anticipated, however this part is interesting: "The investment will also enable Nandi to exploit further certain glycation technologies previously licensed to Tate & Lyle plc and now reverted to Nandi." And also: "Interest in Nandi's technology is increasing, in particular with the drive to tackle obesity and other weight-related problems combined with government-led initiatives such as traffic-light food labelling, which is leading the food industry to explore new ways of reducing fats and sugars in product. Nandi's technology has potential application in a wide range of proteins used in the food industry, with the total global protein ingredient market size estimated at $10 billion (Source: UBIC Consulting Report 2014)."
Just got some funds available today as well, most likely only short term though... Nice rise here either way and nice additions indeed. James Fish, a chartered accountant, has over 25 years' experience in senior financial positions and a wide range of commercial experience including venture capital funded small/medium-sized enterprises and start-up companies. Michael Bourne has almost 30 years' experience in investment management and particular expertise in technology, life sciences and clean technology.
Hi mate. This board is like the complete opposite to the other, it's like having the best of both! With all the companies in FIPP's portfolio, likely there'll be news soon? Just got to wait and see... Here's their current portfolio for anyone that's not seen it http://www.frontierip.co.uk/portfolio/adus-deepocean-limited.aspx
I know how you feel mate! Next best thing for me is to follow and see it do as I expected. Still more to come here (Nandi for example), and it doesn't take much to get it moving. This board has a calm and quiet environment compared to other boards, it's quite unique.
Hi there mate, welcome! Potential looking good here with BOD.
At the time I needed the funds elsewhere so had to sell, and since then it has risen substantially. I'm glad to see this perform as it should either way, it gives confidence to the reasoning for buying in in the first place. We've seen it many times on the share market were even after good news the sp doesn't reflect it (COMS is an example), but sooner or later the sp will catch up. Thanks and all the best to you too, finished strong today.
No not in mate. I'm still following to see the potential of this company pan out though. If the right opportunity comes I would get back in but my current position is not permitting. I agree there's more to come from FIPP (including Nandi I would like to think). Thank you, I hope you, your's and everyone else have a great Christmas too.
