Hi , The problem is the hiccup in coking coal (price) is happening after the buyback programme was implemented. The slightest negative about Q4 and 2021 will have more effect than how we have done in Q3 which is my worry

Concerning the Commodity prices we need to be clear how Kestrel hard coking coal is going to be affected by China playing silly b---- with Australia and India planning with Mittal steel mills which may gradually convert to scrap metal recycling and less reliant on iron ore and coking coal. Prices also fell off yesterday with Australian coal ships not allowed to unload. So there could be a hiccup all the way for the rest of the year. Scared APF may say something negative about 2021 expectations of Kestrel. Cache - what do you think ? Quasi have you any scholarly comment ? Its Cave something isnt it ?

The thing about Kestrel and Australian mentality is that they have invested in scooping it out quick hence the rapid increase in productiion shortening the life expectancy. APF invested when things were low giving the scope for huge return. I doubt whether TRR will find this scope potential with their particular deals. It is key to time the deal when you can call the shots. I have faith in JT to do this and his last interview on Thurs was interesting to say the least. Looks like the sp is consolidating ahead of the Q3 update. I think Boris has also closed the £1 shop even if I go in with a mask.

Has there been any comment on Brexit event (affecting the business). There could be more demand for storage but there could be transportation issues and negative impact on customers I suppose.

Please note coking coal Australia is $119 /t at the moment and about 135$/t fob Premium. So expect a nice turn round on results from H1

Julian Treger said yesterday that the planned Nickel production at Brazil (aided by funding from USA) would fit nicely with the reduction in revenue expected at Kestrel around 2025. Also the coking coal demand and prices have increased so we could be on 3rd tier royalty commissions
