I see the ****s are at it again, Genl up 3.5% and we are where we are, where is the fxxxxing breakout going to happen?

I fail to see the logic here almost 6% down, op up, Shell up, Genel only 1/2 % down, another week till div closing date, thoughts?

Anybody with any thoughts what is happening here or is it just general Gkp movements. Thought there would be a breakout by now or perhaps people are selling for something better atm

Be careful to watch the news closely as big dispute between Iran and the Kurds, both believe they are in the right, how it plays out will determine the future of Gkp.

Atm this is a traders share, if you catch it right there is money to be made. Range is tight between £2.42-2.50. Personally I made a few trades of 10700 yesterday and this morning which made me a few Bob but didn't get the high at £2.53 only £2.45. Sale has been mooted but until FDP is finalised nothing will happen.

Halifax is between 2.50%-3.50% Bxxxxxds! yesterday it was 1% all day!

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SEHK:386) is weighing a takeover of Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited (LSE:GKP), people familiar with the matter said. China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. (Sinopec) is working with advisors and has made an approach to Gulf Keystone, said the people, who asked not to be named because the deliberations are private.

The company may also attract other bidders, they said. No final decisions have been made and any talks may not lead to a deal, the people said. Representatives for Gulf Keystone and Sinopec declined to comment. Note the date here.
