Hopefully the seller has cleared, topped up today on the assumption that it is a fund either wanting to show a realised profit, or their holding has become to big due to this years SP performance and they are obliged to reduce their stake. I would of thought bad news on the way would produce a different kind of trading, it looks like the 3 million shares were taken up quickly due to the oil price and clients being made aware of cheep stock, I remember 2 posters on here over the weekend being aware of this from their brokers. May have this wrong but I fancy we have a bit of catching up to do, similar companies had a big boost at the beginning of the week.

This looks like a distressed seller with willing buyers thanks to Poo.

I think the recent dip down to 25p was the result of a short term problem with Lomond or rumours of a problem at the end of October. This has now been resolved or discounted now but either way production is up and running. We have inventory draw downs, rig count reductions, increasing demand as well as counties that have debt or political problems. The press are also more reporting stories supporting further rises in poo rather than banging on about oversupply, sentiment has changed at least for now.

I believe the 90p share price comes from a conversation a shareholder had with the chairman at the AGM. My recollection of this is that 90p was the average price of his shareholding and he wanted to see the SP at this level as soon as possible, there was no mention of a specific time for 90p to be reached as far as I can remember.

Yes it's about time the herd gets over the thought that oil exploration companies = pain and they start to see value in the non basket cases.

2740 bpd would give us and extra $1 million a year profit for every one dollar increase in the price of oil, so not to far from this years guidance of 2200-2400 bpd, and maybe realistic for 2018 if we have less problems with the pipes.

Trades above normal market size are usually reported some time after the event, best guide is to look at the share price over the previous couple of days. In this case looks like a buy.
