We were at 7p on no actual successful trial mind (forgetting Morocco who arenβt interested) so 5-6p on this news is easily achievable but as we all know the marine sign off will really get it going.
Also I like the fact their CEO keeps commenting on the rationale for them switching to QED fuels is to meet the governments green targets. Itβs great to see that some governments are driving this change π
Canβt see this hanging around in the 3s too long now. Some real tangible news with commercial prospects very close now and as someone said a lot of shares already in very sticky hands. Once the 5-10K buy orders start flying in the price should move significantly then. A little surprised not to have seen a bit more of a scramble this morning.
Iβm just glad the CEOs havenβt used the usual phases from the past like we will now start to plan a larger trial etc. finally we seem to be straight into commercial discussions and suppliers.
Itβs certainly a bold step by the team but one that hopefully we all agree has probably been necessary for a fair while now. Just the shear number of connections and likes on LinkedIn and the number of articles reporting the new appointment suggests that this could be a very good play by QED.
Speaks really really well to be fair to him on that video. Clearly very knowledgeable guy and has a lot of very important contacts. Definitely surprised to see the price stay flat but what an opportunity to add if you like what you see!
With new CEO starting 1st October and us getting the trial sign off and MAC2 installation soon after would fit with the trial start in Jan which is what was recently inferred. When do we ever get timelines right though π€¦ββοΈ
Or he sees this company as an opportunity to be the leader of company that transforms the shipping industry and in it making QED an industry known name. That would look better on his CV.
