He is asked the question does he think the uncertainty actually plays into quadrise favour and he diplomatically tells the truth and essentially says he doesn’t know but it very well could. I’d much rather honesty and knowledge from a CEO than a load of made up rubbish as this is why is so highly respected in the marine world.

It took him 6 minutes so not particularly obstructive to a days work. I assume it gives a bit of clarity to people who will question the effect of the IMO decision.

That was my thoughts. He may have an agreed a relatively modest salary in the knowledge that we have limited funds but will then make up his salary if he delivers what is hoped. I mean if he turns us into a 500M/1B company most CEOs of this level are on over 1M a year salary + bonuses.

Plus the fact that trump pushing oil is only going to help our product in Utah. Or have people forgot that the marine aspect is only one of many sides to QED. Sparkle hopefully not long now too.

Suggest anyone fearing US actions have negatively impacted QED needs to rewatch the recent investor meeting. The chaos and uncertainly this has created has literally provided QED with a golden ticket to succeed. Shipping companies will now be looking for low cost transitional fuels in the near term as they know that eventually climate regulations will land. Just think where all those billions put aside for fossil free fuels is going now 🙌 happy days ahead.

Who knows HF and I think that is something we would all love to knoe. I do think Devonexile is spot on with what he has said though and all this uncertainty could make us a more attractive option now to many large and small shipping companies. I think the positive is that Peter seems like the sort of guy who will at some point say to MSC you are either doing this or stop wasting our time. He has plenty of other links out there to provide ample opportunity for us.

Governments need to just tell the US where to stick it and stop being bullied by them all the time. They will soon change their tune eventually.

What’s the odds of the framework being adopted? 60/40? 50/50?

SC Still struggling to work out how you bought loads of shares at nil cost. Buying shares means you part with money. You said you made loads on other shares so they are free shares. That is two totally different transactions so the money/paper profit is still yours and buying the original shares is still purchasing them at 16+p etc. that is assuming you are a LTH SC when the price was significantly higher

It is pretty difficult as I bought 95+% of my shares below 1 or 2p and only a small percentage when it was around 16p, then 12p then 8p. Still don’t have an average below 2p. I mean I could have sold them all and simply bought the same amount back to make it look like my average was below 2p when it dropped really low but that’s ridiculous.

Getting an average of anywhere near 1p for any long term shareholder would be literally impossible. Not so much if they have been in this just a few years but otherwise the maths just doesn’t work out. Don’t really see why we need to worry about averages anyhow. Let’s just hope the meetings all this week lead to the signing of the most significant marine climate agreements in history 🤞

Yep. Also the directors would have to buy 75-150K of shares and if it hit 10p then they would only make the same amount again. Well if it hits 10p most of us would be pretty happy and we would definitely be on the road to something greater.
