Interesting times. I once sold all the time when things dropped and a wobble or two sets in and normally ended up worse off. Been with quadrise 7 or 8 years and this time I have decided to just drip feed a few hundred quid in here or there and it surprising how many shares you can accumulate. Any half decent rise now and I will be more than pleased. If the whole company goes bust in 3 years then I still go to work the same as I do now!

May see 10p sooner than we think if that agreement came to fruition!

I would assume any delays and disruption would be released in an RNS.

I have read this forum daily and been invested for about 10 years and it has always kept a really balanced view on progressions or lack of. Most if not all I would assume are invested, and they would put forward both negative as well as positive views regarding projects or activity, but it would all be interesting to read. Its a real shame that we now have a new bunch of clowns arrive and upset what has been a great forum to read and follow over the years. Clearly some have ulterior motives, its just annoying they can't all just stay on the advfn forum where all the other rubbish is!!

Fair play some good active banter and educational insights on this forum at the moment and I have enjoyed reading these posts over the months and years....not like the shambles and comedy going on on the futura forum at the moment ??

Exactly! I reckon about 90 percent of the drugs I see daily are used for reasons not initially tested for :) discovered accidently and then the defining research comes later! From a share point of view you would have missed the boat then though. Once we all know it works and how it works and everyone is buying it the share price will be crazy. If it gets to market and works thenthe share price will sort itself out!

Great little read this and perfectly summing up why certain people can persuade others to simply cut losses and sell. What is debatable however, is that there is a chemical reaction as any product hitting any surface creates a reation and this is the reason why many will stay put and wait this out. Futura have seem to have accidently stumbled across a finding that they didn't ever think was a finding and at this stage are struggling to quantify the exact science. As so many have mentioned before, accidental findings in medicine are common place and if something is safe with minimal or no side effects but does create a reaction/response then why would it be not be used? Why are so many people stressing about the exact science! Half what we think we know is proven wrong all the time with alternate theories discussed. If it gets marketed and doesn't work then at all then I would be surprised. We can all make a choice on what we think will happen. Personally, I think the GTN and demasys probably did work very well but wasn't showing statistically significantly differences from the demasys alone. That can only be for one reason.

I assume the fact they are not doing all these studies now is simply they don't need to these studies now. As they have the option of marketing it as a medical device this as mentioned this no longer requires further double blind RCTs. It no longer carries an active drug that can cause side effects and surely that's a bonus and also far less financially draining for futura. All the evidence showing drmasys to have a similar efficacy to cialis was in the FM57 study

If dermasys doesn't produce a direct vascular effect which GTN obvious does, have futura stumbled across something that effects the neurotramsnission around the sensory receptors to actually hypersensitive the area thus do the direct opposite of what a local anaesthetic does. Is this what Ken is hypothesising happens with the evaporative effect? So in a way, could futura have actually found a way of treating a potential cause of an ED rather than just a symptom which is all GTN does. Definitely cant see it being purely mechanical or placebo as all rubbing something for 15 minutes would do is elicit bordem or pressure sores ;)

Reckon some outside corporation like proctor and gamble could throw their hat in the ring now we don't need a designated pharma? Considering there is no drug in it now as keeps being reminded to us all! Could liven up the competition a bit!

So this shows a 70% increase in blood flow in 'most' subjects compared to placebo (dermasys). This doesn't mean that there wasn't an increase in the placebo also, just means that it was greater in the gtn groups which would make sense. Then there are the subjects where there was no differences at all so one could assume that may because there was an increase in both right? Then again...who cares if it just works.

Everything used to be about evidence based practice but nowadays there is many that would look back towards practice based evidence .....ie if it works it works. Who cares how it works. Just because a research paper says x y and z does this really count for more than actually if something works with no side effects then thats all that counts. Papers, research and stats can easily be manipulated to show things that don't even really exist so I am not worried whatsoever study showed. If it works it will sell and sell big. The fact that we no longer need a study to prove it because of the gtn is a bonus as now it can just be marketed. In my opinion the success will depend on if a pharma etc support it and want it to get on the shelves or if they want to suppress it! If it gets on the shelves and works it will sell itself and who cares how it works!!!

In other words, have doppler scans ever been done with dermasys

So some people have tried to say that due to no GTN / active ingredient now there is no longer a vasodilator effect. Can the same people then confirm that categorically no vasodilatory effect is likely with just demasys. Could it be in fact the reason why we see an increase the absorption of the Nsaids for pain management? and also possibly with the likes of cannadidiol? Clearly then there would never be a significant difference between gtn and demasys in the FM57 study as they were essentially testing two vasodilatory products. Could it be that it has nothing to do with mechanical rubbing or nerve endings blah blah but simply the demasys itself has a vasodilatory effect...and in essence that is all that ED is....a dysfunction in local vasodilaton?
