Yes a very interesting move by the gov, but Chubut may drag their heels ....." the governor of Chubut, Mario Das Neves, recalled that in his province is prohibited the open megaminería and anticipated that only he would be willing to reverse that situation "if it decides the town of Chubut, by means of a plebiscite". The debate is anticipated to be intense and uncertain.". (does that preclude underground mining?) However the lure of cash, employment and commercial benefits may turn the objectors. I seem to remember that there was a small but noisy group of objectors who rough rode the population of Chubud in the last vote on the mining issue....could well be different this time around.
Morning all, the re circulation system is not due to be on LIne until Q 1 so I doubt if any news on that will arrive in the near future. However there is still a large amount of other drill, ip etc data due....Where is it bod? You promised quick news transfer...I for one am still waiting.! After many many years here I am considering getting out as I could recoup at least some of my considerable losses by investing elsewhere! A shame as pgd do have good potential!
Yes nice buy..... Lots of news still due including now on the elongating list, news of drill activity at La Paloma, due before 2017! Perhaps a little bird has a little news and had a little sing. We will see soon
Morning all/Cookie, yes Huemules, Leleque and Manuel Pan are all in the hinterland of Esquel, thus a possible local effect in play. PGD have already promised underground mining, are an Argentinan company and as Branford had good relations with the locals before meridian waded in. I believe the main Esquel site still abandoned. Pity if they can't be mined as grades are good and open at depth. I made one mistake today searching for chubub not chubut! It's meaning " a dead potato that's good in bed"!! I guess the first part could relate to pgd unless they get a rns out soon!
I'll check tomorrow as well into vino right now :-), but either way we.need to hear about gold sales before the Xmas shut down!
Morning mass, I thought that region had a mining friendly governor now and god chairman was on good terms with el presidente. It will probably take a little time, but if Argentina is the new el dorado for mining, then mining will surely recommence in Chub?
Well here we are approaching Xmas 2016 and still no news. Come on guys 2 months of gold pour and not a sausage. Surely the one thing pgd has a close eye on is amount produced and money brought in. Plus the list of other news expected. We will be judged on gold production......bod no excuses!!!!
Hi high, yes I know all about this mob as been in since 1997 with brancote, just so disappointed with something which should be yielding so much more.
While exploring more of the new PGD web site, I came across the words ".... and strong silicification with extremely high concentrations of pathfinder elements, such as As-Hg-Sb-Tl which imply the natural surface is high in the hydrothermal system. ...." under the exploration heading at Los Toldos. I'm not a geologist and don't know whether extreme for these elements implies extreme for any gold deposits in the area. Anyone have that knowledge? Secondly I've noted that PGD were not active at the important mines and money conference in London this week. Indeed looking back at presentations none seem to be have made at any conference. Have PGD given up stating their case to the industry? If so why? PR company not upto it, bod decision? In any case I am extremely unhappy at this, given the poor sp value for the companies real and potential resources!
The following is taken from Risehall on the solg bb: http://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Deals/Chinese-bid-for-Super-Pit-to-test-Australian-investment-mood I was surprised that the super pit only had just over 4 million ozs gold in reserve. PGD should have more than 50% of that total.....Invite the Chinese over!
Well the bod seem reluctant to rns news so onto their web site. And there, a picture of gold pouring at C-O!!! Just need the news now regarding how much poured and how much earnt!
sorry Los Toldos drill results in Nov not San Jose!!
Yes news due especially since the bod promised more info transfer to interested parties.. However they still need to report on Sarita (dipole Oct), Mt Leon (drill Oct), now San Jose about due (drill Nov) and it would be nice to see the first new Gold pours. So come on bod pull thy digits and do as you promised. If there is no sp movement on the above news I'm off!!
Morning Mads, yes I agree, lost contact with biggles, aow, John S, and many more. The concert party issue and lack of response from the bod to direct questions has put people off and put this share in the bottom draw imo. Plus the poor performance of the ex CEO as a biz man rather than explorer. I was surprised with initial Uruguay announcement, but see now a way forward from the doom and gloom 6 months ago.
Hi Hl, many ifs and buts to go before mine planning. However from what I can see on the provided diagram, the strike seems to be about 10m across and from the surface (no overburden..excellent) to the available depth info is about 150m. So it appears to be a trench (continuous?) for over 3km. If this is so then extraction shouldn't be too difficult and with low environmental impact. They seem to have magnetic and ip data from most of the sites so with increasing drill results a decent model should emerge. As for a 16% sp decrease...a buying opportunity :-), :-), as it's been for many years! Whether this will ever escape the mineing to pay the bills/salaries cycle is anyones guess, but I live in hope, hoping that I don't die in hope :-)
Once Mr T starts tinkering with the economy and a credit squeeze hits then PoG will be a strong factor in PGD.sp. Until then the main issue is how best to deal with the gold sulphides once the oxides have been mined. To my understanding the sulphides make up the majority of the known resource. Once the method is chosen then the gold will pour consistently imo!
Morning all, newby on this bb as usually post on iii! I'm an original Brancote person with a large lump of a holding.. Just posted the following on iii expecting no response, and hopping to see how people feel here, cheers Zero comments about the Uruguay results! I'm a little surprised as the results seem to indicate zone 13 open at depth with a area of interest 3 km long. The same seems to be implied for zones 14 and 15! Furthermore Carreta Quemada area is 30km long although no real hard data yet! Is that a decimal point typo? In any case it seems there might be a considerable amount of gold hidden in them there hills :-). Still waiting for Mt Leon drill results and Sarita dipole numbers. Plus soon Los Toldes drilling data! Come bod please do as promised with news! Have a good week
