You may not see any RNS as they are not legally obliged to report any change of holding below 3%. If this can chug past 4p then seller is finished, because anything approaching or at 4p BID gets quickly sold into.

There is little one could fault in the news in terms of progression. To assume they would come out with say 40mt would be a mistake as that would be unrealistic. It's a more than fair upgrade on top of an already profitable scoping study.....Unless one doesn't know that it's already peer group competitive. More size, longer mine supply, more dosh, can't see much problem in that. By drilling out extensions in Reservatario, plus 40+ holes to add in Grandao (albeit mostly infill) 25mt looks like an easy target for next upgrade and more of Grandao as measured. Add indicated/measured in Stage 1 pit Reservatario then 5 to 8 years of high probability supply for an offtaker to get their mitts on.....

Opex cost is same for rest of resource and as long as it's easy to remove the ground to mine the new resources the Opex should continue in line with current Opex/tonne for stage 2 mining. If new resource was sat 40M below current resource then you'd need to remove 40M of rock to get at it, but it's an extension of the current resource so just keep digging into the exposed pegmatite with no overburden needed removed first.

Your CAPEX doesn't change as it's the mining vehicles, plant and pit creation..... Thats why the value goes up as costs spread across more resource. To make pits lower/bigger is the cost per tonne production cost. However if you ramp up production to 2mtpa then your Capex will go up.

Last week they had a high ask and kept pushing up bud looking for new sells without seeing any buys to warrant it. Especially the 8 to 8.2 jump. Now this morning they have an 9.5p ask....that will keep buys at bay if they don't offer better than that. So do they start pushing up bid if they can't bring down ask for fear of buyers taking their stock.

They presume idiots have decided selling is a poor choice...... Like the 450k seller at 7.8p last week. Shame.... Just when SQM debunked any oversupply from their operations, drill results and now resource upgrade.

To get the first offtake secured.....think about that. Secure offtake leads to secured debt which can be paid for in the first 2 years of first 5 year offtake.....it's as tight a project as a duck's a55.....
