RE: Possible buyout?!9 Dec 2021 16:08
I don't think there will be a buyout just yet and someone would have to accumulate to build a big enough stake or present a big enough sp price to buyout shareholders, many of which are loyal to TC. Basically, if TC with 25% says it is worth fighting a bid, then a goodly number of shareholders will stand by him, simply because he has made so much money for them in the past. If TC had a really good deal or undervalued asset (poor mkt Cap), he could try and take it private, but there are insufficient major shareholders currently to take him over the line to a private company, so again someone would have to accumulate.
PMG has underperformed my personal expectations, given the current price, but several trades over the years have netted a nice return, so all my current shares are more than free, having said, picked up a few more today for the bottom draw. I am hoping we'll see 65p levels again in the next 12 months but now holding to see what TC can do in the next 5 years.
