Gas now up 5.77%, if that does not shift PMG's sp in the morning, I am not sure what will!

As I speak Natural Gas prices are up 3.84% and PMG is down today, it appears that Putin is restricting gas flows to Europe, so one can expect prices to rise in the coming days. I cannot understand that months down the road and we are not at least back at 60p plus, we are currently lower than June 2019, even if expectations have changed in the meantime, but a growing cash pile and profitability should surely underpin a higher price even if the 160p of assets can't.

I expected PMG to be a slow burner until some momentum was established but I am now beginning to question TC fabled abilities, we need some news and decent communication from the BOD.

Thanks for the link, like you have been looking at the rising prices and wondering why the PMG sp is not responding more positively. Still holding PMG for the long term, improved results and hopefully a big announcement will make the difference. Sp should automatically be ticking up more than a penny a month simply due to the increasing cash pile. Must admit, I was going to buy more but bought ENQ instead which has turned out well so far.

Still believe oil and particularly gas will remain high for some time and much higher if Russia cuts off supplies and this wretched war carries on.

Arbitration in other countries has often taken many months, let's hope it is quick in DRC.

Can't remember last time I saw repetitive purchases by a BOD in this way, it will be interesting to see when he runs out of cash or appetite.

Barclays target now in the rear view mirror! JPM's new target would be a nice start in near term.

If ENQ can achieve higher volumes and prices than in the previous forecasts/business plans, ENQ should experience a nice rerate and accelerated managing down of loans, which will also help the sp.

AB as a Director will also be locked in for long periods and selling would be a bad signal.

Thanks for the article; when Musk pronounces on something, it generally becomes self fulfilling until he changes his mind. But when he needs Lithium, why bump the price, unless he has an alternative and is trying to sabotage those dependent on Lithium?

I have bought back into RRR and am currently in profit!!!! But I have to say, I find this song and dance in DRC a little frustrating, the question remains (and we keep being teased) has AB secured a "result" or not? A positive outcome in cash will transform the balance sheet and sp, along with AB's ability to progress opportunities without an immediate placing or giveaway of licence percentages. It will put RRR in a much stronger position. A deal that does not have cash but promises of percentages and licences at this stage of RRR's game will see RRR snapped up or bankrupt, but no doubt AB will still have an interest and shareholders will not get their jam. This is RRR's big roll of the dice, let us hope it rolls in our favour - but AB, some positive news would be most welcome.

LGEN dividend has to be one of the strongest in terms of % and security and the income hunters will be buying with the likelihood of decent capital growth over time. Recently buying and showing a profit, now time to sit back and wait for the results and divi of course.

This should be at least 300p a share based on dividend performance alone on top of a sound balance sheet and business.

The dividend is why have increased my holding, so now about an 8% return and the bonus will be a minimum of 20% rise, hopefully in short order. I have traded in the past but now relaxed about LGEN, sit back with effectively index linked income against current inflation levels and catch the rise when it comes, add if LGEN goes lower in the meantime DYOR.

I bought when I saw Barclays new target and am already 18% ahead on initial purchase - oil up again this morning.

I am afraid that I ignore Barclays targets as they have in my experience often got it badly wrong. Oh let me see what was there last six targets in 2022 finally arriving at 25p only for the share to hit 36.5p. Now there target is 21p with ENQ is better shape, it does not make sense, although granted they were closer this time after the event!

Oil will remain high for the time being because of the Ukraine crisis even if there is a degree of recession, and the end of the crisis will signal potential for economic growth and help keep the price high. Whether commercial of residential, stocks are being run down and more carefully used, so latent ordering will also help increase demand.

ENQ should be generating a lot of cash for the foreseeable future and hopefully improving on its hedged positions, debt is relatively high but can and has been managed, so I added again today.

Anyone noticed how Hydroelectric schemes are getting much higher fixed price contracts going forward, if energy retailers are paying higher prices, they must be assuming energy costs will remain high going forward. Let's face it Russian Oil and gas are not going to be fashionable for some time to come.

Exactly a year on and the sp is exactly the same!

However, the difference is the current and foreseeable gas price is much higher and the cash pile is growing in terms of asset value/sp by equivalent to 1-2p per month! The company is profitable and has purchased renewables that generate cash and profit. Current risked PMG valuation around the 160p mark.

PMG is actually quite a tightly held share with a good 55%+ in directors and institutional hands and I am sure there will be a few private investors under the 3% radar. It would be interesting to know exactly how many shareholders there are?

We just need some news and buying pressure to shift PMG into gear.

Until TC actually spends some money, this should be rising by at least 1p per month or more as the cash pile grows.

The RNS should shift the sp or at the very least underpin the sp.

They don't have to spend their cash pile, invest in dividend shares, TC invested in FPM previously. It has some risk in the current climate but dividends are income and if they get it right - potential capital growth. This would help spread risk and help against inflation eating away buying power. Also easily tradeable shares are surely almost equivalent to cash in the bank.
