Gas up 1.76% today - looking forward to seeing PMG next reported cash balance.

I agree, if MCRO finds the bottom in terms of revenue decline, even a slight initial reversal could have a significant impact on the sp and a rerating of the company. I would still like to see a little more substantiate or substantial news relating to sales, debt repayment or a take over bid etc.

Cash mounting up and underpinning sp. Next set of results will be interesting. Personally hoping that we'll soon be in the 80's with 90p on the near term cards. Much further will require some news but 1-2p per month of sp growth just based on accumulating cash. Gas will now remain relatively high with new record highs expected unfortunately due to Putin and his gang. If the pundits are right and Russian gas is turned off, PMG's small amount of unhedged gas will generate some interesting revenue, especially if the new wells prove decent. Given the low extraction costs, margins are exceptional and higher prices pretty much translate into bottom line figures. Early news on a partner for the oil assets is the main reason I am sitting tight. DYOR

This gives a moderate near term forecast target of £4.07p but longer term it suggests MCRO will seriously take off in all respects.

if Goldmans is right, a POO price of $130 would mean an extra US$500m+ per year, on this account ENQ's debt would evaporate very quickly, a sp re-rate would send the sp flying.

You are right about PMG, however, given the current sp, the assets including an increasing pile of cash, all we need here is a take out bid or news on the development or sale of one of the licences. The sp still has legs with the right news in the near term.

Oil and Gas particularly have spiked this evening - should be interesting for PMG tomorrow, perhaps the retrace is over and we are ready for another bull run on the share - even without substantial news. PMG's bank account must be bulging and adding theoretically more than 1p a month in asset value to the company alone.

Well, we are through the 300p level for the first time since the end of June - hope it holds. Sp should be going up steady anyway with a steadily improving balance sheet.

The sp performance is becoming more than a little frustrating, I hope there is some news soon, debt payback, new revenue streams or even a take over offer would do the trick.

Plus, I was expecting a retrace (wish I had acted on it), but as I said I do not want to be out when this pops to a £1 or more if the terms are good.

Added yesterday and today on dip. I agree TC has disappointed in recent times but I still believe he knows what he is doing in an ever changing economic and political environment. Yes, the gas prices are sustaining PMG now and probably will do for a while with additional wells coming on line soon. The key things are that PMG has a couple of good assets and the stars are aligning and I do not want to be out when news does come out for a farm in or takeover.

I assume that with TC's holding, he has a better chance of fighting off a takeover until he is ready to throw in the towel and retire. But I agree, if he does not get the sp up soon and someone else appreciates the value of the assets and cash, PMG being taken out is a real possibility. Anyhow, added a couple of time on the dip and looking forward to the results and GPA news.

AB is a grade one pl**ker still making rookie mistakes. There was no way there would be a settlement without almost giving RRR position away not far short of free. Plus arbitration with already difficult parties is always protracted. I imagine the other side thought that RRR was on the ropes financially and attempted to take advantage but failed, so on this count, at least AB did not roll over and we live to fight another day or at least another six months before AB puts his hand out again. The one thing I will give AB credit for is that he is a good serial story teller and just maybe there will be a happy ending as was the case with Jupiter.

I was tempted to sell @79p on the expectation of the sp dropping back below 75p, but two things stopped me, gas prices will remain high but could go much higher given the political situation and secondly, I would not want to be out when news does come through for PMG.

So sat tight on up to 80+% profit and sitting back, knowing that PMG is one of the best bets to counter the energy and cost of living crisis in the long run..

Getting hedging wrong either way is a real issue, but ensuring all your oil is sold when the market is tight is also an issue.

I follow PMG, a small fish in revenue terms but they went unhedged and have ridden the gas price very well.

Added ENQ again today on hopefully the dip.

I trust JP Morgan's target more than Barclays, there is 100% difference between there targets.

When I saw Barclays target of 21p, I did my research and actually bought into ENQ as a result and showing a 30% profit so far, why on earth would barclays so soon reiterate a target, unless they know something we don't ?! Especially given recent news. Even if POO drops, the chances that ENQ improved hedging will offset this and I am not convinced that oil will come down any time soon, or at least not appreciable. Cash is coming in and debt is being paid down and I don't think the oil minors will be overly wind fall taxed, it would be unfair when compared to the majors.

ENQ may or may not shoot up and even retrace a little, but from where I am sitting a steady rise in the sp is surely built in.

Everyone seems to focus their frustrations on Murdoch but perhaps it is time to replace Lock?

Is the Investor relations guy any good? Been there since 2021 and can't say MCRO's investor relations has set the world on fire?

Dividend payment dates are always welcome but how about a decent chunk of real news, MCRO is well off its post Covid highs and should surely be in a better position - why does the sp not reflect this. I would like to see an update, revenue growth, loan repayment, new contracts, director buys, BoD shake up, sale of assets or even a takeover bid - some news PLEASE!!!!!

My whole portfolio is in high gain, but for one large holding in MCRO.

Heat pumps - the maths only really adds up at the moment if you are using electricity to heat your home, I suspect the Japanese were mainly electric, so the big drop. The problem in the UK is the capital cost of the equipment and retrofiting to old property stock - ENQ will be pumping oil for some time to come and still has plenty of time to transition to new tech renewables which improve all the time.
