Debt pushed to Mid 2024, if I am not mistaken. Even better wiggle room.

In 2019, there was an update in August, but more typically it is in November, so perhaps 10 weeks time ish. There is also usually a RNS or two around the time of the update, so hopefully any positive news will produce a little upward sp momentum.

Bit quite here considering a new non-exec RNS's today. Is that perhaps because no one has heard of this new director? I did a quick google but no significant presence. Supervisory roles in "Partnerships" can sometimes simply be rubber stamping Executive Board decisions. Bit like the John Lewis Partnership, when the Exec Board took away contractual defined benefit pensions and got the equivalent supervisory board to sign it off in some show of democracy, when the average partner did not have a clue as to what they were loosing. So, I hope that our new NED has real experience in the world of PLC's and a skill set that will add weight to the BoD and not just rubber stamp and tick boxes for the BoD. Thirty odd years in one organisation perhaps shows loyalty and some progression internally but does not suggest much of an adventure outside a comfort zone. Members of Supervisory boards in my experience (several companies) are eager to please to maintain their positions and reluctant to stick their necks out, I hope I am wrong in this case. The new NED may be a good fit but I would have liked to see a broader PLC CV.

Slightly controversial statement/generalisation but designed to hopefully encourage other posters to fill in the blanks and confirm confidence in our new NED. Your thoughts please........

Added Friday and today, so now looking forward to some good news that will help propel the sp to higher level.

Also hoping that we'll see a reduction in loans to demonstrate BoD confidence and will help de-risk the share. I know that if they have cash in the bank it should not matter but perceptions count.

Unfortunately, MCRO is still not really understood - it remains a cash generating machine off the back of long-term contracts.

My divi has not arrived yet, probably three working days or something. Still, this morning's drop was a disappointment, hopefully will recover as the dividends reach punters accounts and purchase MCRO shares.

We really need some news - positive on any front.

I think we have seen the bottom in terms of SP and good levels of resistance to dropping any further. The dividend is in the process of being paid out and taken into account on the SP and it is generally agreed that a good proportion of those dividends will be reinvested in MCRO by long-termers who believe this cash generating share with long term contracts and 40,000 customers which is operating in a new world order of enhanced digital primacy. So shares will hold steady and rise slightly post dividend pay out. Good news will then underpin some sp growth and big news such as a takeover, major collaborations bearing fruit or decent update and cash generation that helps pay down debt or perhaps the selling of an asset which would potentially change the debt ratios favourably could help re-rate this share.

From now on each update and half/annual report should underpin the SP and overall SP growth should become exponential, easily heading towards £10 and in two years, potentially in excess of £20. DYOR but I am holding for the long term, why wouldn't one the MRCO return is 40-50 times greater than the typical savings account and the capital growth potential is multi bagging! Oh gosh, sounding like broken record..................

I have a feeling that a lot of the dividends will be ploughed back into shares at this sp by long termers which will further restrict liquidity of shares. If this is true, then the share price will inevitably go up as a large chunk of share holders are likely to be looking for long term growth along with income if they need it.

Also added today - PMG unrated.

I suspect that the sudden drop was partly exaggerated by stop losses kicking in and those kicked out will come back to the fold along with those building their holdings on the dip as I have.

I don't think it will take much in the shape of a good news story, director buys, decent new targets and recommendations and even talk of a take over - we'll easily see a £1 rise in a day.

Surprised at drop, disappointed by lackluster presentation of results and that there were no pleasant surprises such as an improvement in the debt ratio and perhaps 100-200m further reduction in debt.

However, I cannot fathom the £1 drop in sp based on effectively known results and therefore have seen this as a buying opportunity. Normally, I trade a share every so often, but with MCRO I just do not want to be out when a re-rate occurs.

Can you get a more bullish article?! This guy has certainly put his reputation on the line over prospects for MCRO's sp.

Choo Choo - next stop £6!

Good post and highlights why MCRO is so undervalued but misses one point which I keep repeating - MCRO has long term embedded software contracts which are effectively a massive forward order book. The market fails to understand this.

MCRO said they would appoint a new CFO imminently and they have delivered which is a good sign.

If they shorted on Friday - Oops!

Two buy signals from brokers in the last week, I assume they have digested the update and believe MCRO is on track, just need to wait for the figures as confirmation, the new CFO and any other news. I think these broker targets are achievable by July '21.

Missed the Numis new target on the 18th May @ 650p. Might not be as high as we might like but still almost 33% higher than the current sp. If 650p arrives in short order I will be very happy but medium term looking for substantially more before parting with any shares in MCRO!

I think we will have some generally positive news in the six weeks before the interims e.g. contracts, collaborations, success stories, CFO, loan repayment and possibly - as always possible - news of a take-over, selling an asset etc.

I think the 470s is now the base line and hopefully there will be little drift until the interims.
