Russia says it will 'drastically reduce military activity around Kyiv and Chernihiv'

Russia’s defence ministry said Russia will “drastically reduce” military activity outside Kyiv and Chernihiv.

Speaking on television after talks between Russian and Ukrainian negotiating teams in Istanbul, Russia’s deputy defence minister said Moscow has decided to “fundamentally cut back military activity in the direction of Kyiv and Chernihiv” in order to “increase mutual trust for future negotiations to agree and sign a peace deal with Ukraine.”

All it takes is a long range missile going over to nato territory and article 5 is triggered...accidently or intentionally. Its can happen anytime. No one knows imho.

The person who thinks the war is the end game is giving complete bald statement with no substance... when biden called putin, war criminal. His response was anger toward US....but to call him a 'butcher' and ' this man cannot remain in power'.. when France and UK minster are distancing themselves from those comments. U automatically assume, russia arnt just going to stay quiet....also u wouldn't have Ukrainian president asking for air craft, tanks and missiles because Ukraine , from start of war stated they ain't going to give Ukraine land to Russia. If they didn't then why would they now. Otherwise all the innocent lives taken would have been avoided... I believe this is far from over imho

Cesna, yes, I think capita will need to prove the model is working and that may take time hence consolidation. Whilst debt remain on the balance sheet. Macro factors of holding debt could make the price volatile due to high beta. Imho.

Don't get me wrong, capita had a transformation plan, where it started to go wrong was when ESS sale went for under 400m and they were expecting around 700m...now they had disposal target off 700m which they achieved ...now they want to sell the whole portfolio division. The question is, why they keep changing goal post? What's the point having 700m disposal target when u plan to sell the whole division which wasn't the plan at first...

What happen after, covid hit which affected business and now inflation and interest rates. At the moment, the company is trying to navigate the ship with these challenges which seems to come at wrong time.. it all now depends on winning those contracts ...sometime u have to question why institution are selling? Okay exclude r n m as many claim they're selling due to mandate, but why are others selling, some say, derisking due to war etc. But my question is why are they taking huge loss if they believe in the business, transformation?

Many of us like myself are sat with huge losses. We're trying to see it out and they're selling. As a result of selling pressure, even people who have just bought in are sat a loss. Question is, how much more selling is going on, and day traders depressing any rise should they come. All very interesting.

The company still have to win these contracts which depends on how well they've been running them. But the issue still remains below.

At the moment we know factors that may affect profit. Includes:
- wage rises for around 55,000 employees
- the struggles to recruit skilled staff so attracting recruits with attractive pay
- Employers national insurance cost increase
- inflationary cost of heating n electric.
- rising borrowing cost to service large debt

Many of the above wasn't an issue in 2021. These are the challenges of 2022. Largely because fed and bank of England thought inflation was transitory to fall back on their words now and increasing interest rates every month for the past 3 months as they're behind the curve.. largest inflation rise is yet to come in April. Hence many are betting on 0.5% increase. Gonna hit business hard imho

Revenue growth and profit is weighted towards second half of 2022. I think numbers if any good will show in December statement etc should there be one around that time. There's contract renewal to be won. Nothings ever guaranteed, any losses could have affect on revenue imho

The company has a debt of around 900m, completed disposal of 700m but still have a debt pile of 900m. They expect 111 m to come but then they take out 300 m of more debt as rcf.

I don't understand why they taking on more debt through RCF of £300 m

Government spending is important but with recent budget, the government really doesn't have much to spend as they're more worried about financing there borrowing cost which has increased substantially due to interest rises.

Capita needs to prove its reputation and show its a changed business.

MOD data leak this week really doesn't help with matters. It questions capitas IT capabilities to handle such breaches. In recent MOD Committee meeting capita was criticise for failing in its contracts and was fined in the past. This data leak proves nothing has changed so therefore questions any future mod contracts again.

Lastly, the Turing contract has had criticism from start. Capita clearly arnt in a hurry to silence the critics . Proven by not bothering to send a speaker in a conference. How hard can it be? This falls in to the hands of those whose criticising and are against Capita running the scheme.

Capita has much to prove. Significant movement in the share usually occurs on results day jotella.

All above factors would not have been in companies projection in 2021 or expected as part of the turnaround story. So I guess its all about wait and see approach.

We need more II buying to outweigh the II selling. With ftse 250 demotion. Nd not being tracked by fund managers, economic uncertainty of possible 0.5% increase in interest rates as inflation to jump in April. we have plenty if hurdles to overcome imho. Gla

Do you think it's fair to hold onto information that u wish to share, then build it up and sharing the information a week or so later.

Nothing about me wanting this share to drop, am invested and sat at a loss like many others...just as before, u hyped up and said you have supirse for us all to find that the surprise was a terminal showing institution selling...what am trying to ge try head around like many others here is. U said such a fund manager has taken this amount of stake, some new funds have taken soo many millions. But what ur saying to us tells us completely different to price action on the share price. The selling isn't totally pinned on R&M. They had like 12 million shares left, volumes have exceeded multiples of that over the past couple of weeks. Yet they still hold some of that 12 million and the price has drifted. It doesn't make sense with what ur telling us imho

Nofear, ur telling us what u want us to hear. There's always 2 sides to everything. U need be transparent. You've told us about how many has been bought, How about you tell us whose selling and how many shares has been sold??? So far the buys uv mention has not affected the share price so clearly there's more sells.
One or two people buying has clearly caught ur eye but then having for example 6 or 7 selling, whether that would be due to demotion, or derisking due to war or due to mandate is most interest to us. The share price tells us different story from the few comments u posted below. Don't think ur telling us the true picture Imho.

This is the issue with capita, they just don't keep it's clients happy and prove they're the right people to run contracts. How hard can it be! Imho
