From my previous post, qube has shorted aml, wg, cbg. All near enough dropped 50% or more or around there. So can't ignore how successful they've been . We know Marshall wace are very good too. so the above stock is also shorted from what I gather by Marshall wace too. What is the the likelyhood MW isn't shorting capita. Its worth noting, qube shorted at low levels and increasing. U wouldn't short just before results to lose money. So trenners, I'm likely to assess my position depending on sp. Don't think I'll get buying what iv sold. Imho

Opened a short on bitcoin. Imho

The correction started around 7th November but qube increased their short on 21st November near the lowest point of the correction. Doesn't stack up. They usually increase by 0.10% each time. So they increased from 0.48% on 5th August 2024 to 1% on 21st November 2024. That's above 100% increase in 3 months. The next increase will take them to 1.10%. The last time a single hedge fund shorted the stock with 1% short or more was going back to 2021 where sandbar held more than 1% . Not even Marshall wace ever shorted 1% or more. Surely it isn't something you can't ignore. If u dig deep, qube and Marshall wace are alike both shorting AML, CBG, WG. Which is why Marshall wace is likely to be in the back ground somewhere imho.

@JO, shorts attacking WG too. With an increase over there on Friday. I'm led to believe ur not in capita following the same reasoning as broomtree for selling out which is widely documented by savage. U offering ur free PR service here ? Imho

Could well be who knows eh. Currently it's santa rally with shorts lol. Qube increase in short is one to watch. And if Marshall wace appears, then I'm selling my existing position and running for the hills. Imho

The point is, u say, u don't care about day to day movement in share price, Nd you leave all the noise with the likes of aimless and traders. With that statement I wouldn't expect u to be posting at all in any stock your invested in. With your biggest investment in s4. I see your doing alot of posting their which is contradictory. I mean s4 hit 60s when Capita dropped, and you dropped in this board telling us how well s4 was doing. Suddenly nothing posted causing many to be concerned here. It is evident why, s4 dropped by 50% from ur last visit here. If your investment strategy is sound. U wouldn't be nursing paperloss on possibly ur top 2 big investment. All we know is its all Speculation what the update will be like as much as one feel confident about it. Many should have learnt this from past trading updates and sfor. Iv learnt that in August update. I like to look at the bigger picture and feel shorters are tightening the screw here. U can try to blank it out. But they're firmly pushing the price down. What more damage can the imply with long way till update imho my point is, apply caution. Imho

Gocpi, you seem quite active on sfor board, if your comment held true, you wouldn't be posting on sfor board with a long term view. Something doesn't add up! Imho

Let's summarise.

- Shore capital downgraded for the first time from buy to hold

- qube have recently increased their short, doubling their holding from August to now with holdings of 1%

- we have short at around 11% with results pending

- other outsourcing company in the sector have taken a hit

- hasn't the share price dropped for past few years when results were out.

Got to get the risk exposure right. 30k director buy considering small PIs have 200 k invested here. Isn't inspiring. On the last update, I thought result was going to be good to see it drop 12% ish, nofear escaped that carnage. So its hard one to call imho

The highest amount of shorts, visible and hidden iv ever seen was around 3.2% but at 11%. Now that's something. I remember cineworld during covid time had shorts close to 17 to 18% ( visible and hidden). So, i do expect those with shorts around 0.45ish% to pop their heads out within the few weeks hope am wrong but we probably see some activity. 11% with few weeks to results is definitely not comforting imho
