An amateur purchased £15 k worth of shares at 17.62. Sitting on 4% loss already. What a bizzar trade imho

Traders are trapped with that spread. I expect they are likely to keep it like that till results now imho if ur in, ur in or take a loss or hope for good.results imho

@jg68, the markets are hitting all time highs. It just appears that we may already have had the santa rally early. As we get closer towards the end of December. The market jitters about tariffs likely to kick in institutional investors on most stocks may adjust their position before holiday season going into January. The results this year is like a week late compared to other users. Imho I maybe wrong, revenue drop saw us seeing a big drop on last results. I've seen stock hit twice or even three time on the same news. Equally, we could say, market has priced in debt being low.. I just think customer experience division which has suffered is a division likely to have suffered this year with weakness in Europe and UK. The benefits of no pension payment next year is likely be no longer a benefit as this free cash is likely to go towards NI employer payment increases, wage rises and bonuses returning imho

@trenners, I take on board what your saying the sector is being downgraded. Other outsourcers are seeing drop in their share price. As JO once said, it'll take few reports before any change in trend. I take great comfort from qube and acus. With sector seeing a downward pressure in price to hold onto my short. Also chasing margins, means losing contracts, where currently contracts are few in between with businesses holding back. Customer experience probably see bigger drop in revenue imho

I'm waiting for 'I told you soo' moment 🙂. Markets don't like drop in revenue, I'm continually building my short position here. I'm just waiting for Marshall wace to show up . Imho

I believe sp to be jittery leading upto results. I expect those who bought in hoping for rise leading upto result to sell out before results. Imho

Oldtrader. AI is start of a journey, needs investment, takes time to establish. The loss in revenue by selling capita one likely to be visible and i can't see market taking it well. The results are later than usual, but atleast it's not a Friday. Major institution investors, or traders are beginning to finish for Christmas holidays so not expecting much reaction other than mms possibly pulling it down imho

I don't expect future statement as its an update for last 11 months. I expect outflow to be high, revenue to have dropped lot more due to pause due to election, and budget. Imagine the share price stays stagnant lol imho

Yes, looks like serco got a downgrade from UBS. this is consistent with shore capitals recent downgrade on capita. This leads to sector downgrade. Shorters are taking their position which all makes sense. What's bizarre is, PI's think they know better lol is it because they invest on hope or in JO case, a 'hunch' 🤣

Serco dropping! Imho

Many are confused why a contract renewal isn't rns'd It's simple!!! It doesn't change the revenue. Its not new revenue. The company's revenue yesterday is same or not much different after renwal today for example. Equally. What should be rns'd is, every conteact that has been lost because that would affect the revenue. Serco lost a contract recently and that was rns'd. Never have i ever seen capita make such annoucnment when losing a contract other than when it's hidden in the interims or final report. So if any one bought on the back tesco renewal then u may need alot of luck imho 😉

Jg68, still have short on capita and bitcoin. My last message, bitcoin was at $101,000. Look at it now. No brainer! Once I make big on my bitcoin short, I'm hoping to buy in here at 14p ish on results imho
