I know that I love to childishly pick up on grammar errors on here and when it comes down to it it's just a BB so who cares....but surely an RNS should be written properly?

can i reassess when i think this is hitting 11p?!?!? a retrenchment was inevitable since marginal investors here are so impatient...but this is much faster than i expected. oh well....makes no difference i guess as long as the RNS lands. wonder if we'll get one final opportunity to top up sub 10p?

Don’t worry Zendor. The I’ve had nothing but faith since the AGM. Had a chat with H&N there and we agreed that the underlying business was decent which meant you could put some real money in for the Tema, “Africa contract”, Iran etc without fear of losing your shirt. (Ie not really a punt any more). That’s why I’ve been adding (erroneously as it turns out in July) all the way to last week.

I’ll have a holding in this until it’s taken out or goes bust (silly I know) but I’ve got too attached after over 7 years. I’ll certainly look to be taking profits once we’re into the 50s and beyond, but I do think this could genuinely reach £1 and way beyond.

But all of this just my opinion....even the bits that are quite clearly facts.

As an aside...would be nice to have some news so we stop the squabbling. But the day the contract lands I’ll post a little boom and then be gone to watch the pot grow. This BB is going to be unbearable. Before that day Foxy I should get a contact for you....would be nice to chat the share on that wonderful day without a bucket load of tripe.

Zendor: yes i mentioned that i could see it heading down to 11p before news. not that i really care.....not selling without news. could well go below nominal if we don't hear anything this year.....but PF should plump this little turkey before the 24th i'd wager.

Mr Fox: my take on AIM (other than it basically being a gambling habit that one's allowed to tell their spouse about) is that there are number of huge misconceptions :

1: it's riskier than most are prepared to accept
b: management are generally pretty average but have huge (and normally misplaced) optimism
3: codes are a complete myth
4: mm's are nowhere near as Machiavellian as people on BBS seem to think.

What are you talking about Foxy???? DHC is waiting patiently and is off out for the rest of the day in his opinion.

He's certainly not repeatedly posting lengthy emails....ever since he bought back in and changed his tune. he's also not stating facts as opinion or consistently misleading about his plans to be in or out of wherever he currently is.

never used spreadbets....i'm led to believe that they are best used for short term investments? ...which this hopefully can be for some

i've got faith we'll get an RNS before we hit 11p......but i've been wrong before.....well...constantly for the past 7 years i guess!!!

as a minimum we know that there will be an AGM in June....so i'm sure we'll hear something by then!! maybe

i can easily see this stretching into December with no news...this is Africa and everything takes a little longer than you expect. combine that with WSG which has the same...you end up with a delay being very likely. I'd be happy with anything this side of xmas

McD: Dodger is right, I certainly don’t have £400k invested...not that lucky...I’m not Martyn.

If I was PF I’d be nowhere near posting on BBs. That’s the sort of thing that the FCA takes a very dim view of. But I’d also not be replying to many emails from PIs....that’s what investor relations are for.

This thing has certainly not given me sleepless nights, but I think I’ve checked for an RNS at 7am just about every day for maybe 4 years. I’ll be happy when I don’t have to do that so much.

and there will plenty of people on here talking this up just as they start to divest....like Investinvalue did..they'll talk their book right up to the point that they're out and then they'll admit it.

and my final point is that if thing hit's 50p and i have £400k invested in a single AIM stock then i'm not getting much sleep each night

Feeks: my take is that the RNS lands, the share price jumps, i take some profits. there is plenty of upside left....IF they can deliver on some of the other prospects. i could easily see the share price getting a little out of hand on the Tema RNS (assuming the contract length is good), in which case it could well drop back if nothing else materialises for 6 months or more.

by your rationale you shouldn't top slice until there is no more future potential...this is AIM, there is always future promises of (more) jam tomorrow....so you'd only ever get out when the company got taken over..or went bust

Feeks: that could well work out very nicely.....no doubt once Tema comes good there will be plenty of talk of dividends (not something that i think we'll have to worry about for a long time). If they did get into a position where they could start to return capital to shareholders then you could keep holding for the foreseeable. I suspect that it will get taken out before then though.
