The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Where did you hear that? How credible was the source? And why would they buy it out at such a premium?
It's also such a reliable income stream. As far as risk is concerned it seems so low. The only concern really is that they aren't yet covering their costs (I think but happy to be corrected) so will need to keep fund-raising.
Does someone know something we don't?
RNS makes it sound like they have found private buyers for the placement
Haha impeccable timing
I hope it does but I'm doubtful given historic market movements here
Anyone know when these guys are going to run out of money and need to raise more?
*I meant 6.5p
Unless they came in a 7.50 a while back they have literally made no money. Are people selling out because they've realised it takes so much to move this share and there are other opportunities to make money quicker?
I thought it was pretty standard to reiterate a buy rating
It reminds me of when I used to sell concert tickets on Stubhub. I'd wait for them to be listed on ticketmaster or o2, I'd then buy them, I'd then list them in Stubhub for twice the price and people would buy them. All within a 5 minute period. I'd then go back to O2 or Ticket master and buy another pair, then list them and sell them. I once did 3 pairs in 30 minutes. I couldn't believe how stupid people would be about doing no research. Why weren't they just buying them from the same place I was? The behaviour of people is often baffling.
I'm so confused as to why someone would sell their shares on this news? It's not like they're selling at a profit either...
I'm about as confused as ever with AIM stocks. The broker finally issues their rating. It comes out as 'buy'. Then the price drops quite dramatically...what?why?!!!
By that logic if I sell then they have bought so it should show as a buy which is not true. Basically just ignore the colour on the screen and look at the numbers. It's the only way.
It was shown as a sell. My colleague also topped up and it was also shown as a sell. Looking at the prices of each trade it looks like yesterday was actually exclusively buys...
Hopefully this is as low as it will go. I've topped up. The company remains good and nothing has changed. We just need some news.
Unfortunately the market never seen it that way
We can't be far away from an update here? It's been a while...
Or the opposite, I could make money faster elsewhere with that attitude. I don't need the money atm so I'll stay in but it's been a long time already...
I'm tempted to cut my losses (50%) and just move on. This is so slow it doesn't even prompt me to check it any more. Sad times... :(
