For the benefit of my readers, here is a copy of an historic message On Friday 11th July 2014 Seven Million shares were bought.......why was the information withheld until now? Who bought them? Could it have been the BIG BOYS? It looks as if something is afoot! Don't say I didn't tell you so! However........my experience in the past has been that when people buy lots of these shares the shares go down and when they sell the price goes up. Maybe that is why they call the stock market "CRAZY LAND" Anyway......at least someone thinks these shares are worth buying!

This is what I have been going on about all along! IF this information is true, where did you discover it? There is no mention of it on THIS site! And IF it is true, why hasn't the price moved? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks Gerry for your explanation. I still think that shares are like quicksand. I have been invested in BTG and never forget the shock horror of seeing them halve overnight........in the last seven years I have seen them move from 97p to £6.30! Being positive about this share, it has always been in profit for the five years, but has been soooooooooooooooooooooo dull. At least at this level of price the foundation is more solid to grow value. I still believe that the true value is at least 80p.........and what would make the shares fall further? They seem to have made good inroads in the USA and the Middle East.......EVERYTHING DEPENDS on getting some commissions from the FAR EAST......and maybe it wil take time to build its business there.

What puzzles me is how a share can be worth 70p one day and only 40p another. Where does the value disappear to? And if it goes up again to 80p......where is the money coming from to pay for the gain? It surely MUST be related to how many shares are bought or sold......but we do not always see a record of who has bought and who has sold. I raise this, because someone mentioned it was all about 'confidence and expectations' Well OK.........but where is the value stored? Or is value simply quoted at the whim of a Market maker, with shares carrying no intrinsic value at all?

Hark at our Tom giggling away........if a takeover WAS a possibility...... are there any other PR firms who might take part in the battle? If they did......I'd be tickled pink!

Well it is nice to fantasize sometimes! But seriously, it is good to hear someone being optimistic, like my learned friend AKW2000. But do u think it will take three years to turn things around? That is much longer than I thought......and Lord Chadlington will then be 75! If I was him......I'd retire and "get a life". and enjoy the fruits of m' hard earned labours.

Thanks for the feedback on HNT. How much does it cost I wonder to have a company entry in the Financial Times for a year.........it must be peanuts! Is the company so hard up that is necessary not to publish details of the company there? I should have thought the FT would be the first place people who are really serious about investment in shares would look.. Secondly, if Chadlington had faith in the future of the company right now, why has he appeared not to have a holding, having once had over 3 million? If I thought the company was going to double in a year's time I am pretty sure I would be holding some HNT shares. But normally.....and especially in the FT when a director sells or buys shares it is always recorded. I don't recall reading about Lord Chadlington selling any shares they just quietly disappeared from the directors holdings. Now you see them.....now you don't.! All very fishy!

Information about his holdings seems to have disappeared. With a £2 million annual salary, I guess it doesn't much matter to him either way how the shares are performing. I see he will be 72 on the 24th August this year. I very much hope that AKW2000's encouraging remarks have substance. Today, I bought more shares. We all know that just as shares can become overbought......so also they can become oversold. But as I say..........I would still not be surprised to see them go to 35p before a rebound. I am sure Lord Chadlington, a great opera lover, will appreciate more than anyone......" that it ain't over till the fat lady sings!".

....before bounces to 50p............then she could be taken out at 75p.

At long last it is good to hear other people contributing to the debate and offering positive comment about this company! I agree with the comments of m' learned friends akw200 and Gerry557 but I do wish someone would take up my point about HNT disappearing from the the Financial Times listings? Why should that be? It seems to be highly irregular.

One thing which has puzzled me for a long time is WHY Huntsworth shares have been removed from the FT for the last two years. Was it a cost saving exercise........ or a way of deliberately not attracting attention to its self? And if that is true, why would it want to do that? No one has provided an explanation so far and it is the first time I have ever noticed a share just 'disappearing' from the FT in this way.

How many shares need to be bought to raise the share price one penny? The whole thing is a complete and utter mystery. It is a wonder that anyone invests in shares at all !! And why did the shares fall so much from 70p when as far as the published statistics are concerned hardly ANY shares were sold? I think the directors ought to be buying at this price......unless of course they have no confidence in the company. I am on less than a 50th of their annual salaries and I am massively invested.......so I am none too impressed.by their poor example and poor performance! Hey hoe..........an election is just around the corner........and if these shares turn around....I promise to vote Conservative an buy everything Chinese!

It is surely only a ploy to drive the stock lower so that the 'BIG BOYS' can move in and buy up some cheap stock. And then guess what will happen? I hate to say "I told you so" but did I not say in a previous post the shares would fall to 45p or below? Ironically, once again.....according to the sales figures more shares have been BOUGHT than sold.....and yet the shares fall in price! It's hilarious isn't it?

It does make one wonder why the shares tumbled so badly at the end of last April. But there was no record of massive selling on this site.........just a completely unexplained drop.....followed by more drops.....not particularly related to any declared buying or selling activity! I cannot imagine that all income and future earnings can be adversely affected in this economic upturn.....Lord "Jam tomorrow" used to say that business was good in or out of recession. I guess the new business generated in China will be decisive.......but working with new people can have it's teething problems........Sharpe has gone......now Sally Withey is off sick.........it all sounds rather ominous. and destabilising!

It couldn't be better news........the shares are going nice and cheap. I will probably buy another 100,000 at this price. When the news come out in August the figures will not be as bad as expected and the shares will go up. However, it is a bit worrying about the excellent and very well paid Sally Whithy....she seems to have done a good job....who will run things in her absence? And what is Lord Myners going to do about the situation? It would be slightly encouraging if the directors started to buy a few more shares themselves at this price....they can certainly afford it with the high salaries they get!

So how do you explain that? It could be another bluff.......to entice you in before the fall to 45p! It is obvious that these shares are probably worth double that price.........that is why I was asking if it is possible to purchase 'call' options on this share. I will certainly consider doing it before any major end of year announcements and before the end of a dividend deadline. It's easy....just buy 1 million shares you don't own at 70p and then sell at 50p and get £200,000 profit. I think if a number of other people adopted that strategy........they will be eager to take their profit and would be a bit worried about people piling back into the shares and pushing the price back up! It may take up to three months for the price to stabilize. Who knows? Anyway........some such 'monkey business' has been going on......as I say......if they go up great, as I have a large holding. If they drop to 45p even better I will just pile in!

Maybe they want to drive the price down so they can get cheap stock prior to a bid approach. It seems rather suspicious to me!
