It’s no wonder really. It’s the holy grail for all scientists at present. Everyone is searching for it.

My personal ‘Covid ****tail’ consists of Vit D, Zinc and Quercetin. I understand that the latter two have similar effects to Hydroxychloroquine (the anti-malarial drug advocated by Trump.) Thus far, I have avoided infection and am now a healthy shade of orange.

BBBB I am by no means anti-mask. Logically it seems like a good idea even though all the scientists, including WHO, were ambivalent about it at the outset. All I am saying is that one could make an equivalent case for taking Vit D supplements for which there is a preexisting body of academic evidence suggesting benefits.

As I frequently confess, I am no scientist, but I thought that viruses generally tended to have the primary objective of surviving, replicating and NOT killing the host? Or is it perhaps down to things like lack of oxygen in our ITUs?

I mean surely there is as much medical evidence for the usefulness of vitamin d in preventing coronavirus as there in use of facial masks?

I don’t understand why they don’t encourage use of vitamin d supplements to boost the immune system during winter months - or is that too obvious?
