OK so this is an article from a year ago (and PW said in video 3 that one year in this sector is like a decade in others), but note the skew towards Asian countries in the top 7 buyers. I think this explains why the price of bitcoin (for us) goes up overnight. Compare and contrast with skepticism from the likes of the Head of ECB as discussed below.

I would be slightly concerned if China, having read in the Sunday Times today (other newspapers are available and I do read them) that “Barack Obama, in his memoir “A Promised Land” spoke of the failings of his China Policy. He pursued trade deals and hoped for concessions on issues such as climate change, while China increased its militarisation of the South China Sea, engaged in intellectual property theft and was “evading, bending or breaking just about every agreed law of international commerce”, he wrote.”

Just saying, it would be a pity to be the victim of intellectual property theft on Affimers at this stage of the game.

Bitcoin is a “funny business” asset that is used for money laundering and needs global regulation, the president of the European Central Bank has said.
Christine Lagarde was unequivocal in her criticism. “For those who had assumed it might turn into a currency — terribly sorry, but this is a highly speculative asset which has conducted some funny business and some interesting and totally reprehensible money-laundering activity,” she said.
“There has to be regulation. This has to be applied and agreed upon . . . at a global level because if there is an escape, that escape will be used.”

Does anyone else find that last sentence sinister and ominous? What is it that people should not be allowed to escape from? The great global economic reset? Bailing out the Euro? The woman is a total hypocrite... and who better to talk about financial “funny business” and money laundering than the woman who escaped a prison sentence for such activities because she was “too important”?
The double standards are shocking.
