It’s terminology used in the mining industry, one that I’ve not particularly come across before but recently find it used throughout the industry. I saw in a recent GGP presentation that they use the gram metre scale to calculate their strongest hits. And as you say it’s just a simple calculation of the width of the assay, multiples by the grade. Bert Monro recently used it to.

Grades can be classified in a number of different ways.
Low width x good grade
Low width x low grade
High width x good grade
High width x low grade

I’ve seen many companies use diffferent scales when referring to “high grade”. Some say anything above 1g/t is, some say 3G/t, bonanza grades above 35g/t. But you can have low grades which can become economical. 60m@0.8g/t, it’s low grade but it’s a long 60m strike of mineable Ore, generating and leaving minimal waste.

Sanankoro has a mixture of the lot. It really does, and all starting from surface basically means once they begin to dig, they’re in the money. Some companies need to strip 200/300/400m of earth first. I probably haven’t explained it very well and will try to provide a better explanation once I fully understand it myself, but hope this helps.

The signs always felt like they were there so if the company continued delivering similar results moving forward, this was always going to go places. A lot of work still ahead but it's slowly shifting from a speculation stock, to one really producing the goods, and on the verge of production in the upcoming years. I think a drop in share price may entice quite a few more investors who kissed out around the 10p range, but it is what it is.

Bert seems like an honest, down to earth guy with good intentions, but sometimes alone, that's not enough. It's about conviction and turning your words into actions and he's certainly delivered on that front. I have absolutely no exit strategy set up here. With such a low Market average it may be something that crosses my mind in the new year, but i wouldn't sell everything. Just take my investment and let the rest run. The near term cash flow factor opens up a number of opportunities for Cora in the next 3-5 years.

I see substantial growth over the next 6 months, but strongly believe that will continue but will assess further down the line. One step at a time, let's finish the purchase, get the resource upgrade out, submit the feasibility study and see where that leaves the company in terms of the Term sheet. Like ECR, these are all in my sipp and with being 31, i have all the time in the world but never too early to start thinking about the future.

LW, you made a good point which has stuck with me. Cora recently has sustained a nice healthy rise in share price. you normally see this in a company when the assays begin to filter in and all of the work has been carried out, normally waiting a further 2-3 months for more results to filter through

But not here, the price is rising nicely, drilling is ongoing and the results will continue to filter through for the next 4-6 weeks, followed by a resource upgrade. It's that momentum, growth and sustained pressure why i see Cora as a fantastic bet right now. Nothing is a guarantee and I've seen the price for out of the arse of Junior gold explorers, but this news period in my eyes sets Cora differently to others.

Every junior exploration company have historic results and "high hopes" for the future and growth moving forward.

I found Cora by chance, by someone cross ramping it one morning. Thank god they did :D. For weeks it had very few, limited trades. Nobody on twitter mentioned it and this board was a ghost town with a Market cap around £15m?

But at the same time it was delivering stellar results, had a 265,000 oz resource, signed a $21m term sheet to finance construction in 2022, along with an ongoing 35,000m RC campaign. It just seemed to have everything i look for, but maybe the Mali affect was off putting to investors. Each to their own but yeah, the quality is certainly shining through now, all building up to a very healthy resource upgrade.

Yeah i think as we've witnessed elsewhere LW, we can debate all day about market sentiment all we like, but if the project itself moves in the right direction, you'll get your reaction from the market

There's certainly not been any sign of a market sell off today as far as Oriole is concerned. I think it's just waiting on a bigger batch of assays. With roughly 5,000m of RC results recieved and 3,000m RC drilling completed at Madina Bafe, if the continuity in todays results is reporred in the upcoming RNS reports, i think you'll see movement here
