Although visible Gold is a welcome to any exploration company out in the field, having no visible Gold is not necessarily a direct correlation to there being 0 Gold at all. Pretty confident and looking forward to the results to give us a scope of the Byron reef.

You can run a company brilliantly to a certain extent but if the gold isn't there, you can only flog it so far. Geraise Heddle was a fantastic CEO and ran the company well, always came across good but it comes down to the assays to me. When i started following Greatland Gold last year i head numerous times they had a cashflow of around £5million. I didn't know at the time whether that was good/bad or anywhere in-between.

the notifiable different for me is the JV, the shared risk and the obligation of the JV partner to meet spending requirements in the $millions year on year, significantly reducing the financial burden to the Greatland

A "no deal" with our JV is certainly not the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination but it will set us back. Ideally we sign the JV, continue drilling Creswick at a favorable rate and Craig can continue exploring the various resources in Bailleston. If we can get to a stage we have regular updates and assays from both projects, you'll see this move on nicely. The only company I believe looks to have everything in place at this stage to replicate something to what GGP did is Antipa minerals. ECr can get to this stage but I still think it will take quite some time proving up Bailleston (And Creswick) with the current resources and rates the company are working with. but that's fine, i don't expect production within 6-12 months but as shareholders, you want to see progress, less talk, more action. Keep MIDAS busy :)

Definitely dv. Stockbox stated it has been delayed slightly so hopefully hear something soon. I was hoping for an RNS being reported this week, then for him to do the interview afterwards, clarifying the situation. Certainly a lot of money to work with now, I just want a clear plan moving forward and see what kind of drilling we will carry out at Creswick.

Are you still invested G star ? No judgment here, I’m just curious. I knew the RNS wouldn’t be welcomed by all and your going to see casualties in that. I do believe the funding statements were and are misleading to the investors. However, from a personal stand point I don’t see this blip, over ruling the reasons why I’m here for another 18 months. Each to their own though.

Not sure what he’s wrote, but it won’t be or any use mate. He doesn’t own any shares in this company so those jumping on the bandwagon with him, it tells me all I need to know.

I think we’re just going around in circles. I don’t know what you want G star? And I’m not having a go because I understand your frustration. I just know once Craig has clarified what the raise was for in better detail, there’ll still be unhappy investors. They can’t unrelease the RNS. It’s a decision the company have made, one they’ll have to stick by and one, if I’m keeping my investment here, which I am, it’s a decision il have to accept in some form.

JTB - it’s not a defence of the company because the comms are pitiful. The material recycled on Twitter is a joke and Craig’s and the companies PR approach could do with a makeover. A makeover which probably wouldn’t require much funding or too much effort.

But when I invested, I knew this and was content. I was investing in the projects, the growth and other factors. PR is just a bonus factor for me but yeah one that could do with some work.

I don’t care where the price is, 1/2 here or 1/2 a penny there, if the 6 holes prove up high grade...were onto a winner. Start thinking about what the company needs to Grow, once that grows, your investment does

You’ve just proven it. Even if the results are good, that’s going to be on your mind ? 2.2p. Who cares. For months and months this was sub 2p, then up, then down. Then up.

star786 - I couldn’t definitively say yes or no. I just can’t see Craig Brown openly informing the market that he’s received results, and then withholding them for 6-8 weeks if he knew he has to release them

I do still have a fair few questions or issues I’d like Craig to address. It hasn’t been a pleasant couple of months but I can’t imagine being invested in any company, where you don’t have to ride out the choppy waves.

The SP is still up over 300% since last summer without actually releasing any assays on an official capacity in that time. I think it’s in a good position to grow from this point and generate large returns for shareholders.

The end goal is production. There’s no escaping that. That’s the dream, the aim, the goal for every junior explorer. But I’m invested in the here and now. That’s the beauty of finding Greatland gold early, ECR early, Oriole resources early. You take on that risk, you have to factor that in and play it out. But once the exploration kicks off and the assays roll in, could be very soon, this is where the gains are made for me. Before we even have a sniff at production, you could see 5-10X the current price.

We are what we are, it’s going to take time and I’m expecting a bright future for ecr and my investment, the least I can do is support the company through its quiet periods and “investor uncertainty”

Why they haven’t been released ? Who knows. You can speculate all day but it doesn’t for a second mean they’re bad results or Craig has mislead us there. Probably not ideal informing investors who are hungry for news, but he was only stating facts. He had no obligation to inform us they’ve arrived. There seems to be this unwritten law on these boards about “market sensitive information” and releasing it straight away

Considering he received these results 6? Weeks ago, that to me proves that theory wrong or the company can withhold data for a set period of time.

He said the assays would be returned in a few weeks which they where. He then states he hopes to release them very soon. Our very soon could be a week or so. His could be 6 weeks.

I’m glad too. I don’t want 6 separate RNS reports fading away into one another. One detailed 6 hole RNS is what I’m looking forward to, positive or negative assays. I don’t think they will, but imagine if all 6 holes were dusters, would you still want the company to release 6 separate RNS reports, one after another, as and when they get the results ?

G.star - The price was battered and on a heavy decline and has been for some time before fridays placing. It’s not the placing which has drove this down, it’s the lack of news and investors fed up, that’s why the SP has been suffering and I feel that’s the anger more are feeling, rather than the placing.

It states in the RNS what the funding is for. We were fully funded, Craig took an opportunity to increase funds and exploration will be “ramped up”. We always feel as investors we need ourselves hearing, want this, want that. Well I think Craig deserves the same service.

It was unexpected it’s I’m saying otherwise. But does it mean assays are bad at HR3? NO. Does it mean the JV is off the table ? NO. Does it mean the company is skint ? NO Does it mean Craig has sorted all his buddy’s out ? NO

It’s an opportunity to took to further strengthen the finances and move on strong with expiration. It has been slightly misleading but I’m pretty sure we’ll hear from Craig soon.

This board is like a bunch of barking dogs. Friday and Saturday, I never knew we had that many investors, never mind BB members. One starts barking and then the rest join in. Everyone has a breather, reassess’ and calms down. Then one dog starts barking again and all hell breaks loose.

Apart from 10% dilution the SP in exchange for £2m, nothing has changed for me.

90 million shares snapped up, company budget boosted by a further 50%. Placing price 2.2p. So a 13-15% discount from the previous days close? And that’s the worst placing you’ve seen. WOW. tell me your other holdings because they sound like fundraising genius’.

Don’t forget earlier that week the price was around 2.3p so let’s not kid ourselves.

Nothing we didn’t already know but a modest assessment and out of the companies he highlights in the are (ECR POW RRR) he went on to discuss ECR.

Alan Green discusses ECR minerals in this rather well. Touches on the fundraising and doing it so close to the current SP, was a no brainer. Not sure 2.2p was a justified price of what it’s been performing at but I suppose it could have been further discounted.

Yeah it’s always occurred to me that Craig wants to do some drilling at Creswick. If his intentions are true about using the proceeds to ramp up exploration, TS could be right.

Initially, like most the placing really never sat well with me. And there are still a lot of questions that need answering and immediate plans need relaying to investors. That said, it’s good to take a breather, re evaluate the situation and summarise that even though it was a 10% dilution, an extra £2m could literally be worth its weight in gold. (If it means a second drill running 24/7, a campaign at Creswick, strengthens our hand in terms of a JV)

I’d definitely buy another rig or two but definitely not 8 :D

If you had 8 rigs running non stop, you’d need 8 drillers, drilling assistants, rods, lubrications equipment.. You’d burn through your cash reserves at a ridiculous rate.

Would be an exciting 12-18 months though ha.
