You could put in the cash and you would also have the beauty of a trade if something caught your eye

As for buybacks

Just seem to think that they do nothing for the share price ,Bp being another example.

Why companies persist with buy backs as they seem to do nothing for the share price .

Why do they not buy out some junior miners with some good acreage or invest in making their own mines more efficient.

I’m sure that poster also said that Ezj was going to the low 3s .Well he was wrong with that prediction.

The Uk market just wants to destroy companies value.

Look at companies value they have destroyed

Boohoo ASOS Thg Ezj .Sdry Pfc Aal to name a few and I bet a good lot more could be added to the list .

Also look at the likes of Bp compared to American counterparts.

No wonder investors are looking across the pond .

No wonder Glen is looking to New York to float the coal division as could get far better value .And. other companies are looking elsewhere.

Glencore has a lot of what the world will need in the transition to cleaner energy .

Seem even mining companies are also out of favour,with all the shift to Electric and metals required that they would not be dropping the way they are .

Where do you get your 3-4 % from as at £4:12 and the divi is the same it’s 7.65% try looking at yields on Dividendmax .
