Disappointed to see share price drop. But look at it the other ways ,getting more shares for your dividend received on Friday .And between myself and wife we are just over 3.5k ,I’m thinking of a couple years down the line for when I retire Bp will provide very good income.

And Shell might just be kicking themselves with BP having their biggest discovered field in the last 25 years as well as the others they have found .

Trading 212 ,the dividend payment was in at around midday.I used to trade with Halifax and wouldn’t receive the dividends in my account until after close of trading day .

Bp believes there is 10 billion barrels of discovered resources.I have never seen these types of figures mentioned before,was wondering have you .

Also if Bumerange is the biggest find in the last 25 years ,what kinda figures will be released for that ?.

Who would believe,Bp in the £4:70 as I write .What is driving this as it seems quite strong lately.

I never stopped loading up ,as I had the belief that it would recover.The buys under the £4 certainly look a steal .

You don’t shout about something until you know the facts .

All for a cleaner planet ,but why import energy from abroad increasing our carbon footprint.

I’m content to hold this share until it reaches my target. Between myself and the wife we get just over £3500 in dividends on Friday .

14k roughly per year is not to be sniffed at .

There is another divided payment in December as BP pays a dividend every quarter.

Not much of a bargain for them now ,can’t even sell for 90 days I’m sure.

Well all them buys under £4 are certainly a bargain now ,especially the ones below £3:50 .

Glad I ignored the noise and kept on buying.

Well for a dog of a share it has served me well ,probably the share that has made me and wife most profit .

Having traded it a good few times ,and lucky enough to fill my boots during Covid times and continued loading up under £4 .

We are very content sitting collecting over 13 k per year in dividends until it hopefully reaches our price target.

Things do look like it is heading in the right direction.

The Bumeranque find being described as BP,s biggest find in 25 years should certainly of drawn more attention to Bp .

Also the upgrade from Scotiabank ,with the following statement.

The bank’s preliminary base case envisions a three FPSO development that could provide BP with approximately 550,000 barrels per day of oil production by the mid-2030s, potentially becoming the company’s largest single source of production growth and its top producing asset.

Exactly how much oil and gas is there with that type of figure being mooted and surely it will bring a few more admiring glances .

Nice to see some good news sounds like some size of find ,and here is hoping that BP beat expectations tomorrow .

The wife is even more pleased as she has more than I have ,it’s me that manages her portfolio though.

Just glad I kept buying the dips and ignored the noise .
