Well done to you for making a profit as that is what we invest for .But when you last sold up it was amazing how many negatives posts about BP or being invested in oil you posted .For someone whom was not invested you seemed really bothered WHY because you wanted it to drop to buy in cheaper .(And well done for getting back in cheaper.)
Day to day movements do not bother me as as stated in the past my goal was to get 30000 BP shares and hopefully the price goes up as well as the divi to help with my retirement plan .Which I have achieved earlier than I thought.
I just think it funny with your post, roses when you are invested and doomed when you are not .Bp will be doomed until you are back in .

Hi Doyezee Been a cracking week in Darktrace and like you say it is nice to ride the rise and not sitting on the sidelines hoping it comes down for a better entry .How much more it will go is anyone’s guess but working with Microsoft has got to be a good thing. Does that make a potential takeover target?
Bp I have every faith in hopefully it can climb back up and divi increased through time to give a nice little income to help when in retirement which is a few years away yet .That’s the plan anyway.

Things have been happening for years to affect the stock market shares go up they go down .People have made money on the misery of others .Money is an evil and we all sell our sole to it .

Very nice move with Darktrace just wonder how much more it has to go .Bp moving down today means we get more shares tomorrow with it being Divi day ,if there is not big movement up the way .

Was basically all in BP myself then decided to sell 4500 shares .I put it into Darktrace at £3:54 which has turned out to be a good decision,on the hope it got to £4 and then buy back more Bp . Now I’m not so sure of what to do as it is going along nicely and will also be admitted to the FTES 250 which fund managers need to buy it so could even go up more .

In that one as well , worth watching as working with Microsoft is a big endorsement of your product.Also is there not talk of it moving to the Ftse .I have noticed it can be some size of spread at times .Sold some of my Bp as was a bit too heavy with them .

Dividend payers Can I ask do you soley pick a stock for divi .And does it pay as what I seem to notice your stock seems to drop after ex divi .I was looking into trying to build up shares that pay divi every quarter as an help with income on retirement.
