Well it looks like Iranian oil will not be coming to market anytime soon.

I had to laugh with the news last night .A guy going on about the price of his gas bill then saying he had a holiday abroad to pay for.
Might invest my divi in Deliveroo as when people get the extra money for the fuel allowance they will buy takeaway instead of putting it to their fuel bill .

Is money as tight as they say .
I have just received a quote for windows and the guy told me it will be October at the earliest that he can fit them as he is that busy .
So much for people not having the money to spend .
Or maybe another possibility is due to fuel prices people are spending more getting there house warmer .

Some very wise words if more folk followed we would not be in the state the country is in .

Not disputing that .But what I’m saying is too many people are living beyond there means by having to have it .
And there will not be many people that can buy a house out right .

And at £1100 per month I would be expecting a palace . lol

Could not agree more with what you say .Still live in my first house as never felt the need to move .
I now have 3 properties with only one mortgage ever needed .Through hard work I have got myself into that position.(One was quite fortunate with the right to buy)
My old man told me you only ever achieve things through working hard .
I have two daughters and told them if they ever borrow or have a credit card ,I will kick there behinds so hard .So here is hoping they have listened to their old man.

Too many people living beyond there means trying to keep up with the Jones’s.
Got to have it and take out loan for it.Rather than save for it .
I have only ever had a mortgage and anything I want I will save up the money to buy it first .Feel more comfortable doing it that way as can sleep easy knowing that I don’t owe anyone a penny .

When all the money being given out during.covid ,the government’s of the world would have to find away of getting it back .War and higher prices .Sometimes you wonder if there is a collusion going on and the small man pays with their life or money .

Be as well to as seems the only way you gat anything nowadays .
As for tax rebate the harder you work the more they take off you .
Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it working hard .
You go into a home and you have to sell your house you worked hard for to pay for it.
Meanwhile the person in next bed ****ed it all up against a wall ,and low and behold he getting the majority paid for them .

Will do .She is just annoyed that she is trying to get advice and they don’t seem bothered.
If they pushed for it years ago ,a lot of people would not be in fuel poverty .

The green loonies are trying to stop companies from opening up new oil fields in the North Sea . One company actually walked away from it.
So how are they going to be able to invest if they are busy in court fighting them .

If people are struggling now ,what is it going to be like in the winter when the heating is switched on .How many will spend the money on ways to insulate there homes thus helping to lower costs .
We will have the same will happen in a few months time .
I have a daughter whom tried to contact an official about ways of insulating her home ,she has never heard anything from them.That is where the money should be getting spent .

How much extra is going into the government coffers due to high oil prices ,as it is them that gets the biggest share due to the taxes it imposes on fuel .
Surely they can help the needy more .
