Quite understandable, but I still think there is much to unfold, but with extended timelines.

I watch this share closer than anyone I know, and the only part of this stock that hit one point anything was the SP.

My average at the time was 0.88 and momentarily the bid put my in profit. So although the history books will say this share previously went over 1p the reality is our shares have never been worth more than the highest bid of circa 0.091

Sorry to see anyone go (well almost anyone) but really don't understand why anyone that has held this long would sell now?..

An interesting, but very contradictory article. An insight into what's going on is always welcome, sadly the long term invested in Africa understand some of the realities better than most imho

I would guess still without a licence other than a PL it could take them some considerable time and expense to become an exporter.

Not sure that is the best route, but possibly the only Tanzanian route if they want to recoup the tens of millions of dollars they have ploughed into their MCPP. They have 120mt coal?, but currently without Title I think?....

I remember a (now ridiculed) member of the Kibo bb telling me 5 or 6 years ago in answer to a rhetorical question (?) (when Kibo only had their flagship MCPP), that Kibo were light years in advance of Edenville. As an investor in both companies it really doesn't matter, as most everyone got it wrong,.....NOT that is was ever possible to get it right.

From Louis Coetzee's comments with regard to Tanzania it looks as if we will need a
'Mining Licence',...which almost definitely won't be a SML as our status has changed.
So will we need to reapply or can our current application be adjusted.

I am still strongly of the opinion that there is more to come from the Tender debacle.

My point really was that the Tender debacle is not a new phenomenon. Same outcome with a totally different government/set of ministers.

I still believe there is much more to come !!

Interestingly there is a highway from Sumbawanga directly to Zambia that looks to be about 70 miles which I think could be closer than our contracts, but more important is that Sumbawanga is the most northerly point of the Transmission Line and the exact location of Edenvilles mine!!!..

The proposed Iringa-Mbeya transmission line will in future link with a 400 kV Iringa to Shinyanga which will facilitate the smooth power transfer to the northern part of the country and between neighboring countries such as Zambia in the south and Kenya and Uganda in the North.

So there's much more to the WB funding at stake other than Tanzania! They will at some stage be required to get their finger out.

The routing of the transmission line generally follows the alignment of the existing highway between the towns of Iringa, Mbeya, Tunduma and Sumbawanga. The main considerations during the selection of route corridor were: the ease with which the route can be accessed for construction and maintenance; the constructability of the line taking into account the topography; environmental constraints; minimization of social impacts, including resettlement, and ground conditions, including areas prone to landslides.

It is a fact that if for no other reason than geography Stiegler’s Gorge has nothing to do with the power process in the Sumbawanga region. Added to the fact that it is now considered to be twice the original estimate and some 35 years I think was the last predicted date to supply power to the grid.
