As explained a loss as used for purposes of accounting and losing money are not the same. If you are a funded aim which we are or you have not reached profit you are spending the funds which is expenditure, and that expenditure is shown in the accounts as a loss as that's how it's accounted. Expenditure as opposed to income. Until expenditure is more than income the accounts can only show it as a loss. Spending the funds raised is for the development of the Company. If we break even and go into profit losses will be losses, until that time it's expenditure.

You knew exactly what I was talking about as there is no profit or loss just expenditure, AND imo there will be nothing other than expenditure until past break-even and are well into profit.

Expenditure prior to profitability is monies spent to enable AIM companies to fund their development and pursue their growth ambitions. Expenditure prior to profitability is not a loss, it's expenditure.

As I said to the best of my knowledge the company have never lost a penny, but have expended a few !!

Don't worry GW only 8 or 9 more years if it doesn't rain !

There is a distinct difference between losing and using money before a Company has reached profitability. AiM's are continually funded, and more often than not for long after they reach profitability. Those with a rudimentary understanding of AIM will know that. Even when Edenville break-even it would be naive to assume funding will immediately stop.

Still a long way to go, maybe 8 years! ?..

Just listened to the Interview, and it was much as I expected after reading the remarks. Not very inspiring, but not that bad. I did find I was scratching more than usual during the interview..

In November 2018 Edenville were notified by the Tanzanian Government that the Government had annulled all the Mining Tenders some 8 years into the Company's Coal to Power Project (RCPP). The Company revised it's Plan from the focused generation of new sources of coal-based energy in southern Tanzania and the Mine Mouth Power Plant to a new 10 year Mining Plan developed to open up both Commercial Mining Opportunities and Coal to Power. The Company have been working to that end for around 19 months.

In the 27th February 2020 RNS said: "We are encouraged by the progress we have made since the receipt of funds, focusing firstly on re-establishing the workforce and secondly making essential modifications to the wash plant, including the delivery of a critical spares inventory and establishing the interim ROM coal stockpile. We intend to re-establish continuous production at Rukwa, as the weather conditions allow, and look forward to providing further updates regarding progress as appropriate."

In the 7th April 2020 RNS (the covid-19 RNS) "We believe the steps taken now should enable us to return to mining as soon as practicable. The order book for our coal remains healthy and we have seen consistent demand given our primary market is currently regional industrial players, meaning Rukwa's location gives it cost advantages over certain other operations.

In the December 2019 RNS prior to the rainy seasons and the covid-19 stand down they said: "We should see the mine and plant delivering as initially planned and our goal of becoming cash flow positive being realised".

Under 2 years into the Company's 10 year Plan they appear to be well placed when mining is resumed, obviously subject to remaining funds or further funding.

Imho you either believe what is being RNS'ed or you don't, but please feel free to pick n mix the bits you consider true or lies, or facts or jam !!

I get your point, but you can't force anyone to give up their location data unless you are prepared to litigate and supply them with suitable smartphones and make it mandatory that they carry them 24/7 365.25 which will clearly never happen.
