We know Edenville's view regarding the importance of the $455m Transmission Interconnector after our discussions with the bod at the AGM and their RNS that caused the single largest spike in the history of the company.

As a consequence of the advancing project I would expect (even more so now) that the respective governments will be under increasing pressure from The AFD, The World Bank and the European Union who are financing the Project.

Never forgetting other opportunities/scenarios that could be thrown into Edenville's path !!!

Recent 400 kV Transmission Interconnector news 29/06/2020

"The French financial institution is also supporting the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. The French financial institution also supports the electricity interconnection between Tanzania and Zambia through a 100 million euro concessional loan. AFD thus joins the World Bank and the European Union which are financing this project. The project will enable the construction of a 400 kV transmission line and substations from Iringa to Sumbawanga via Mbeya and Tunduma and the Tunduma interconnection line in Tanzania’s Songwe region to the border with Zambia. The objective of this power interconnection project is to ensure security of electricity supply to the countries in the East African sub-region and the pooling of energy resources in the region.

The known v the unknown

My point really is that although there's nothing imminent here that we know of, there is the unpredictability of the Tanzanian Government, AND the fast approaching $455m Tanzania-Zambia Transmission Interconnector Project (TAZA) interlaced with the five African Power Pools.

We know that Edenville RNS'ed their feelings with regards to the Interconnector which caused the single largest spike in ten years saying that they are well placed being at the Interconnectors termination point at Sumbawanga. I think Kibo at that time were focused elsewhere, but that has clearly changed.

Edenville have 173mt of proven coal and I think Kibo have 120mt?.. Both companies appear well placed, and with the slightest change of direction by the respective governments, pressure from the World Banks/Bank of Africa the Kibo flagship could yet sail again..

As a consequence of these advancing projects I'm still of the opinion (expecting) at some point)) that the Tanzanian Government (and other Governments) will come under considerable pressure from The World Bank and The Bank of Africa.

Imho there's no telling what the sudden realisation of the closing projects might provoke, AND LC did touch on the fact that he is still awaiting direction from the TGov re Mbeya (MCPP)...

Re Rufus Short: I don't think (I should actually know) that he wasn't replaced per se other than because he stepped down as did Sally Schofield before him. In the interim Rufus became the Non Executive Director (NED), he is now a shareholder. Has it made a difference? It's too soon to tell, but they appear to have all the ducks lined up as far as we are aware.

Averaging down can only have one of two outcomes, and Imho it should never be recommended, but....

You can't go back and change the beginning, but to a degree you can change the ending...

The Edenville team on paper are first class, but sadly like all AIM's they lack market/communication skills. I have known RS for some years and spoke (via text) with him recently. I don't think he (now just a shareholder) or any of the Edenville team would consider themselves entrepreneurs. They all have specialist skills. LC on the other hand I guess is an entrepreneur, and don't know if he has any other skills?. fwiw, and if LC was ever replaced I think we need a strong knowledgeable arse kicking entrepreneurial type CEO, BUT sometimes, maybe better the devil you know this late in the day!?....

NOT a strategy that I would recommend as everything is relative, and a great deal of consideration went into my decision to average down to my current level.

My feeling is, with 'everything considered' that currently there is absolutely nothing that would convince me that the SP won't surpass 1p
