I think most would agree that we have a fairly good idea of the Company's near future plans.
On the horizon is the Sumbawanga Substation, which will undoubtedly be fed by Edenville's massive coal reserves (whoever owns them at the time?) being the only said viable (because of proximity and amount) coal supply option.
The planned Sumbawanga Substation is uniquely placed (coincidentally or not) at the end of the $455m Transmission Interconnector, so another reason to utilise and highly value Edenville's 173mt of known coal.
When the Interconnecter Project was first RNS’ed the bods reaction caused the largest spike to the SP that we have ever seen. The Project is still on, as is the Substation.
A requirement of the Tanzania-Zambia Transmission Interconnector Project for Africa is to establish cross-border transmission capacity between the Southern African power pool and the Eastern Africa power pool to enable regional power trade, and that cannot be done without huge amounts of locally sourced coal...
Although there is approximately 1 gram of gold in every ounce of coal it cannot with current technology be economically extracted, and you'd have to process all 173mt...
This project is, and always has been ultimately about coal, and imo that will never change although the possible outcomes are growing by the day!
We know ILTL, MarTek and EITL are eager for Edenville's Coal as are Burundi, Rwanda and possibly Zambia and other South Eastern African Countries,.....and never forgetting the intriguing Dubai connection... :))
How under valued currently do you think Edenville is? AND what would the company be worth if given a nominal value for un-mined coal @ say 50p or even 25p per tonne?.
