George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Ha, yes! Although I was ofcourse just being sarcastic
Rastuss - yes my friend is working on this, and will be releasing some more articles on nmc this week.
IG will be within their rights to enforce 100% margin. It’s a synthetic market so they are entitled to close you at the last prevailing price (for you, at a loss)
Don’t bother wasting your energy fighting them, it won’t work (I’ve been there). Just cover the margin and wait to collect your profits when nmc shares are worthless.
Are you willing to disclose the amount needed to cover your margin? I can borrow you the money if you want to split the profits ha
As one Arab reporter friend just put it to me, “what a pathetic piece, it’s always the brother or mother as an excuse, but then it’s khaleej times, don’t expect much better”...
Ha, yes, Shetty falls ill with COVID-44, a rare variation of the coronavirus illness that has only struck former NMC management and board members... some say the 44 suffix may refer to the illegal $4.4bn of fraudulent debt...
I don’t see how you NMC can “tide over” this...
“Shetty said he is confident that NMC Health, the UAE's pioneering private-sector healthcare initiative and a homegrown global brand, would be able to tide over the current crisis with Belhoul at its helm.”
“Shetty, who is a minor shareholder of NMC Health owning a 5 per cent stake, said he stepped down from active management of the company in 2017 and since then had not been involved with its operations that were directly handled by its former chief executive officer Prasanth Manghat, who sacked by the NMC board as the turmoil at the debt-ridden company escalated”
CEO is an easy scapegoat... let the lame games begin...
Ha, no, it was the capital markets day in 2018
Here’s a picture that you shareholders might want to use for your dartboard ??

I saw that too. His character is funny. I can’t take him seriously. But judging from that podcast (Sep 2019) I doubt he was involved or knew about the scale of the fraud @ NMC.
Quite hilarious really:
Here’s some more background from him. Caroline seems in love with him.

Will I win the lottery?
A chairman is allowed to have a stake, shetty had a much larger one (initially anyway). It’s just confirming there’s no COI.
Hi Rastuss, not at all bullish and agree we need to be realistic here. But I think we all know (even if some don’t want to admit it) that there’s not likely to be much, if anything, for shareholders.
I am intrigued by the transfer of shares to ICP, would that have been done at a certain price? Do you have any other evidence of the link between buttis and belhoul? Or just the original IMA agreement?
I wouldn’t rule a roll up of nmc into the mediclinic/al noor combined entity here. Would make strategic sense if they can get nmc for pennies.
Ha, I like Rastuss, he seems clued on, but I agree with mrD that he is oddly always negative. The quicker they get rid of the entire old guard the better.
Lol mrD, true, convenient eh... coronavirus - sh*t is real (in cardy b voice)
Shareholders would rather hope he has corona if it turns out he had part to play...
For those of you who don’t know the history of al noor - they were subject to a bid from nmc but sold to mediclinic in the end.

“Board confirms that following a period of ill health over the last few weeks”
What utter BS.
Just to quote you again (just because I loved that you bottom-ticked the market)
“Pione3r
Mon 00:03
FTSE Future 5% down
Germany 7% down
The velocity is akin to 1927. Slaughter House tomorrow.”
Everyone can make their own mind up, but that’s like you were wrong to me. Shame you’re not man enough to admit it.
