Everyone needs to be fully aware that the above named person is RobinHood69. He is totally taking the **** out of this board and LSE. Fortunately I have no reason to use LSE except for the amusement value, but please beware anyone who takes this site seriously. I can just imagine "Robin" sat at his keyboard with a ventriloquists dummy sat on his lap talking to himself and typing away with steam coming out of both their ears.

I think it is just worries over the general state of high street retailers and the amount of empty properties. Fortunately we have 97 percent occupancy, but there are still Bhs stores around the country that are empty, lots of bank branches closing down, and House of Fraser are asking landlords to take cuts in rent (I'm not sure if that affects us or not). On the other hand we have warehouses which seems to be a rapidly growing business, with money being made buying and selling between the companies - Tritax, AEW UK, AEW LL, Warehouse, Regional, Real Estates etc. They are all good for quarterly dividends. I invest in these because it stops my temptation to trade when I know the next dividend is only three months away.

Thank you for mentioing that bluegrass. I have been in BCN solidly since July 2014. I don't post much because I would hate to influence anyone's decisions. Some years back I came across a very organised gang who were ramping on these boards. Caza and New World Oil were their main plays and people lost their life savings following their games. I warned about realdeal last week and got shouted down, and have had major problems with Robin Hood and his many aliases on EMH and PetrPantsdown or whatever he calls himself with his fake "lack of English". The trouble is, there are people who read these boards and believe these rampers. They shout loud, get a following, and then disappear and come back with a new name. It's not as if BCN even needs ramping.

There's lots of confusing stuff on Google if you do a search. I look at it like this - yes there will be dilution with more shares in issue, but the company aren't then paying out the dividend, so they have extra cash in the bank. I prefer to see the cash coming in and then I can invest it where I want when it has built up, but the script shares can save you dealing costs.

HICL say they have it all covered, I can't see any reason to doubt that. They should be no shortage of better companies ready to take over from Carillion. I think there will be a lot of incompetence stories to come out about Carillion. Every time I see one of their vans there is someone asleep in it. I'm not so sure we will see volatility. BCN has never been a traders share, in fact this board could go days without a comment until recently. Someone is certainly building a stake here, and who would sell ? (well apart from the obvious). It's the one share I have never felt the need to trade and am perfectly happy to let play out to a conclusion.

Would be a real shame if this board was allowed to become BCN Vs EMH which has happened over at UKOG and Angus. I have similar amounts in both, already on a free ride with EMH, but I believe it will be BCN that makes me rich.

There seems to be a lot of this happening at the moment. Maybe MM's are trying to teach "Dividend traders" a lesson ? Similar thing happening with GSK and a few others over the past few weeks. Usually the price would drop tomorrow at 8am by the dividend, and then drop more as traders sell out. My guess is we won't see the second drop tomorrow as traders will be selling at quite a loss. Personally, I keep an investment in the top dividend payers and top up if it looks worth while. Which it doesn't in this case.

Yes, that's one vote they have lost. Only way to get a decent dividend is investing in infrastructure and NHS pfi's. Good thing there won't be any money for Labour to put their plans into practice once they have spent it all on students.

As a share holder from day 1 in Greencoat UK Wind, I eagerly awaited the launch of GRP, checked that my broker could give me a price, sold out elsewhere to invest, and tried to invest here. That's as far as it got. Tried around 20 times to buy, always got a varying price around 93 to 95p., but then the purchase was rejected each time. After an hour GRP disappeared altogether and apparently no longer exists, and I eventually got the reason that although it is listed on LSE AIM, it is in Euro's, and can't be traded. Totally wrong because the prices I was getting had been converted from Euros to pence. As for the stock I sold out of, I could have got £400 more the following day. Another kick in the teeth for a small investor. Other brokers are available, but it would cost too much to move my ISA, and to be honest, I haven't found one yet that actually can cope with the slightest problem.
