Cebo,
"Ignore the clowns that constantly force their point multiple times (Geo1 etc). "
I think that's a bit unfair. As I posted earlier, I'm giving Geo101 the benefit of the doubt, and don't believe him (or she) to be a deliberate 'deramper', because some of the questions were semi-valid. Especially if they're from someone relatively new to this BB and the HUR story.
Questions like that are worthwhile in a way. A bit of doubt is sometimes a good thing, driving one to go back and check how watertight one's own opinions are. Bit like looking again at one's cards to check one's actually holding two diamonds rather than a diamond and a heart. They're both red. One might have made a mistake at first glance.
Myself, I've gone back over a few things, including re-watching the CMD presentation. First the Lancaster bit, which I then paused and went out for a drink to get away from the screen. Then came back and watched the Warwick Deep bit. And have now paused again before Stobie's bit. Which I may not bother with tonight. Plus looked at other documents today.
And reached the conclusion that although I could follow Geo101's line of thinking, nevertheless I just cannot accept his implication that Hurricane and RPS have somehow got things wrong regarding OWC depths. And also that although I still haven't found 7z's TVD, it still remains roughly 250m minimum above the (low-case) OWC. So the water-cut is 'perched water'.
Or to quote Biffadog,
"Although sometimes I don’t think HUR sell themselves as well they might, I think they are scrupulously honest when it comes to reporting on operations and assets."
So other LTH's, don't start worrying if adoubleuk engages in geological converstion with someone you instantly dismiss (wrongly, I think) as a 'deramper'! Anyway I have a long spoon in my cutlery-drawer, kept specially for occasions when I sup with the devil. Sometimes his menu's more interesting than dreary old steak pie followed by tart and custard.
As for the SP? Anyone here prepared to hold their hands up and admit to having sold everything today at a terrible loss?
...................................................
Nope. Thought not.
Now, hands up those who are hoping for a 'spike' in the near future to sell some at a nice profit.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(OK, been trampled in the rush before I could even raise my own hand.)
This is now a classic 'trading' share. And those with enough shares, or a good line of broker credit, can 'walk the price down' quite easily , on small volumes, hoping (no, certain) to buy back in cheaper. Nothing to do with 'shorting', and nothing illegal unless it's based on inside info.
