I'm not in the least bit concerned. It's just amusing when Mr Bigmouth gets it wrong (as we all do, just more quietly) and then blames it on the mythical and non-existent "tree shake". Gotta take our laughs where we can get 'em.

Good to see several sensible posts rebutting the incessant "institutions are loading up" comments off the back of pocket-change purchases.

I don't doubt institutions may, and probably will, take positions here at some point. Hopefully soon. But £25k buys is not that.

Maybe an alternative (and equally flawed!) house-selling analogy might be: "I'm an estate agent, and I'm selling a house on behalf of owners I don't particularly know or care about. I get my fixed commission as long as it sells so I'm not too bothered about what I get for it."

I am absolutely not saying we're going to get shafted here. I don't think we will be. But it's just common sense to be aware of the underlying situation and any possible risks, even if those risks aren't particularly huge.

My understand is that his shareholding is ... limited. I agree that this is, if not necessary a desperate concern, at least something to be aware of. A few posts recently have raised slight worries about an on-the-cheap buy-out. Hopefully the fact that the wider market appear to be more aware of Orosur now means that any lowball offer would potentially get gazumped...

40034427 it's not (at all) you I am referring to. You seem eminently sensible. And for the avoidance of any possible doubt, I am very long in OMI and it is by a distance my largest individual shareholding.

It's good to see a few posters on here in the last few days who are extremely positive about OMI (for good reason) but temper that with a dose of realism about the markets rather than just ramping to high heaven. It's an unfortunately unfashionable attitude on LSE in general and regarding AIM/lowcap shares in particular.

Yeah, I appear to have more than 0.1% of the company. Or in other words I am guaranteed to be one of the 1000 biggest shareholders. Which sounds pretty insane, to be honest. I don't play individual stocks very much, and virtually never AIM stocks.

Wish I'd put in more than £15k when I bought @ 3.9p :D

I've just realised that I own more than 0.1% of OMI. That feels like a lot!

I'm very boring. Bought big and bought once at 3.9p, being very convinced about OMI, but not feeling the need to post rockets and puff bs constantly.

I'll disappear again now. Have fun.

How odd that such an outspoken advocate of OMI would have spare funds that they'd choose to allocate now, rather than a few weeks ago. Curious.
