Yes, it is. I know some people think because Vujcic has been around for a while he should have moved the thing on, but personally I think that misunderstands the role of an NED versus that of a CEO. But putting that to one side, Smith is the game changer. In my opinion he's likely to be very hands on and, from what I've heard from him, he's unlikely to suffer fools gladly.

A great deal hinges on the relationship and effectiveness of this duo and, as it stands, I think they'll do a far better job than any of their predecessors.

Yes, I checked on the Stock Exchange site last week, which also showed no record of the trades. And you're also right about this site, but I do wonder how or why they suddenly decided to publish them now. Why bother?

I suppose that's possible. You're right, this is no more than an oddity, but since we've come to learn that is was a mistake to trust anything the company said or did during that period, my conspiracy sensors are twitching. Plus the fact there's bugger-all else going on.

Thanks, Damers. That would seem to imply a broker(s) failed to register trades at the time. If so, why? In fact, is that even technically possible?

50 or so trades from '23 and '24 were reported after market hours yesterday.

I can't recall ever having seen this before and am totally mystified as to what's happening. I'm sure there must be a simple explanation, but I can't think of one. Does anyone have an informed opinion as to what's happening?

Again, this was an issue referred to by PS who said between him and DV, they have all the experience and contacts they need. I got the feeling that may have been a direct reference to BS, but that may just be me reading between the lines.

RT, just one comment. Newmont have apparently expressed an interest in becoming one of the cornerstone investors of ExCo. It should be noted this was prior to the levy announcement.

Bozi, could it not be the case they were going to do it anyway? I very much doubt their action is based upon the opinion of one or two shareholders.

Stas, thanks for posting this. I'm glad they responded and it's good to hear they intend to update the pricing. It's to be hoped we don't have to wait too long, but this levy issue must be taking up a lot of DV's time.

Pbow, you appear to have forgotten Panda's special powers of foresight. He happens to know the government have dropped the levy and are in fact going to pay miners for exploration, instead. Sadly, we won't benefit because we're being bought out next Wednesday.

This debate is an interesting one, even if it's become somewhat repetitive, but I can't help thinking there are more pressings issues to address at the moment, and I'm pretty sure the Board may think that as well.

RT, absolutely agree with your last paragraph. We were due some news anyway, but the company needs to update shareholders on the levy question asap.
