I've just read a report in the daily news digest of Merger Market (a subscription site) that quotes VC as saying that post the assay results due in November the company may well sell it's holding in the Casa project. He goes on to say that the project will either be sold in its entirety of will raise money to head for production. If the latter is the case and due to the current sp, OTC wouldn't be able to raise the money required to stand its corner and therefore a sale would be the preferred route. I don't follow this share anymore,having sold out a very long time ago,but thought you guys might be interested...assuming it's not old news. (sorry, the site doesn't allow links)

I've been on the receiving end of a warranty claim, although it didn't involve any fraudulent misrepresentation (it related to a stock valuation) The purchaser of my then business believed they had overpaid...indeed they had,although not because of the stock issue,and were embarrassed about it (sound familiar?) The amount of utter sheet their lawyer came up with was truly mind boggling. Anyway, my fellow vendors and I couldn't be bothered to go to court and ended up repaying 2% of the consideration.

GS,yes the arguments about dilution rates look to be very weak. However, it's not the only plank of their attack; they are also claiming fraudulent misrepresentation and Fielding is very much in the firing line. I imagine he won't be getting too much sympathy/support from the current team.

Lindoser, I didn't say you had. AEM is virtually the only one of the Old Guard left, most disappeared into the ether and a number returned with a massive mea culpa... all credit to them. GS, thanks.

lindoser, my position is crystal clear and I will continue to counter AEM's patently ridiculous posts for as long as he makes them...regardless of whether he's filtered me. He has supported the old regime in a way which I find totally baffling.He completely ignores the facts of the matter, for example, the scale of shareholders losses (over �2bn) and the vast write offs which occurred here.(oh, I forgot, these were caused by anyone but the management) And his statements about the company not needing money in 2014 are just unbelievably dim. I should also add that his memory of his own statements is inconsistent, to put it very politely. The past is still absolutely relevant to this company and hangs around its neck like a lead weight, which is a great shame for all of you current shareholders. And it is important that if anyone who is thinking of investing here and knows nothing of the past, they should be alerted to it and not swallow AEM's total guff.

GS, you'd hope so wouldn't you...although I find it difficult how anyone could accurately predict the outcome of the various legals. At this stage, it's pure conjecture by both sides.

sparkles, I think you could be right, but they appear to be taking a huge gamble upon the outcome of the various legal actions; which is not usual ii behaviour.

Dar, you are quite right, I've never seen you be rude about anyone, indeed, you bend over backwards to be open minded and fair. Poor old AEM can barely see beyond the tip of his nose and will never accept what really happened here. He's developed a sort of Stockholm Syndrome towards the old QPP and will tell you until he's blue in the face that there was no evidence of it running out of money (despite what he now claims) His hatred of TW blinds him to the truth and his constant suggestions that I'm connected to him is the same tired old cliche that people trot out on these bbs when they disagree with someone. Anyway, in the meantime,the various share purchases here are highly mysterious. I wonder what the buyers can see that others can't?

I fear age has dimmed your memory. You were never convinced of the need for cash and consistently denied it, and aggressively so...although you were far from alone in this respect. "We all knew it needed more!! Ha, ha, ha! No you didn't. TW was right. He'd looked at the balance sheet and cash burn (something you're not capable of) and realised where this was headed.The bank's intervention was outside of the normal course of business (it involved extra funds) and was not a given. Or do you think emergency funding is 'normal'? QPP was bust...everyone, with the exception of you and few other die-hards knew it. But I'm still at an absolute loss as to why you cannot bring yourself to accept the truth.

AEM, you've never understood this issue and you never will. The company was on its uppers, out of cash and TW was correct. It didn't go bust simply because the lenders were prepared to advance more debt to cover the wages simply as a consequence of the advanced stage of the sale discussions. Had that not happened, it was game over. You've always been wrong and it staggers me you haven't been able to grasp the truth.
