MrC, I agree. I've voiced my dislike of the 'agreement' from the day I invested. My point was, that in my opinion, failure to win the case will not affect matters because it would be merely a re-statement of the status quo. In other words, the market hasn't priced-in a court victory.

Good question, although I'm not concerned. I'm not sure the COE issue will be significant. If the company wins, good news and value enhancing. If it loses,then it's reversion to the status quo. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Tiny pi sales today, counteracted by a good size purchase.

so do I! But I'm afraid I'm at that stage with this investment when I over-analyize everything. I wake up every morning wondering if today will be the day. This is not conducive to common sense.

I guess I won't be alone in mulling-over the various possible explanations for his resignation? We've touched on a few already,but one keeps coming back to me. He will have been central to the progress of the FS; is it possible he's ferked-up and hasn't completed his tasks on time and consequently the FS will be delayed? Obviously, I hope this isn't the case, but the lack of a clearer explanation for his departure opens the door to negative speculation (by me, mainly) and today's sp seems to support that view. Secker really does need some lessons in communication skills.

He was paid $317k last year. He had options over 500k shares (as far as I can see) Interestingly, he wasn't included in the last round of option awards. I wonder if this is the cause of his departure? And, as an eager corporate conspiracy theorist, I like jimb's idea of him hooking-up with KDNC. I'm sure they'll award him far more options!

Morning Barksy, apparently he retired from SLP, which is different from resigning. And it also trotted-out the usual 'to concentrate on other opportunities' i.e,. us. Where did you see the other announcement? Is it relevant?

This was a typical PS announcement; as sparing in detail as is allowable. The consultancy bit is a red herring, although it does imply that they are not at each other's throats. But it does the leave the question of why he'd depart just now, hanging out there. Very odd.

Vidal resigns from board. I wonder what that was all about? Did they fall out? If so, why? No mention of him pursuing "other opportunities" or ill-health or any of the other excuses normally peddled by Boards at moments like these. He has close connections with RTZ...conflict of interest?

Thanks obs. My analysis of the various shareholdings is the same as yours. With regard to ii/trade shareholdings,can you think of a single AIM company in the same position? I'm sure there must be some, but probably not in the resource sector and most certainly not amongst the juniors.

I agree Oily. It's inconceivable that PS has been sitting on his hands. He'll have made countless presentations to funders over the past year. I've said it before, but I'm convinced they'll be a term sheet or two knocking around, which are ready to go and are subject only to final sight of the FS. I would be surprised if it came at the same time as the FS and suspect it will be in Jan/Feb.

I'm not convinced we'll see any major upward spike; or at least not one that will hold. My opinion is based upon the fact that the past few weeks have seen a number of punters appear on the register who will sell on news. They don't represent much of the register, but this share, due to the small percentage of shares in public hands,is susceptible to fairly large swings upon fairly small buys or sells. The punters, who either don't understand the company or are simply 10 percenters', will sell. If the FS is as good as we all hope, and if the sp stays where it is or falls, then once the dust has settled,this will represent a great buying opportunity. It's my belief that we'll see more movement once finance has been arranged and any uncertainty that some folk still have, disappears. Most of us on here are long-termers, so any short term movement is irrelevant.

Of course, Lowry's opening position was that it would never work. After two years of running the pilot plant successfully and proving the product does work, he had to amend his commentary to saying it won't work at scale. Clearly, this is not a view shared by those actually involved with the process and those who've backed it. As to your comments about financing and cost, life has moved on massively, as the FS will prove (see PS comments re Hanwa's reasons for investing) Obviously I accept your protestations that you support the company, but I'm afraid that it's very easy to interpret some of your statements as being negative. And I have no problem with that. I'm not one of the characters who inhabit these boards who can't abide any less than flattering observations about their investments.Indeed, it's extremely important to read them.

From memory, you've just quoted a broker report and the comment came under the risks section. I don't regard a broker as being an industry expert, nor do I believe that many such comments exist elsewhere. As to your second point, I'm afraid I will not be trawling back through your posting history. I'm all in favour of discussing the risks associated with any investment, indeed I opened a thread on this topic only a few weeks back. But in my opinion, your tone always veers towards negativity, which is of course, your perogative.

Obs, who are the 'many in the industry' who think it won't be financed? Names and reasons please. I've noticed on numerous occasions that you post veiled negative comments about BCN, which I find surprising given that your fortunes depend upon it.
