So far today the value of trades is about £180k. This is considerably less than quite a few on here own individually.
As it stands, there's no interest in this story, ergo 27p.
The key question is; why is there so little interest?

CGP have an overwhelming need to cash in some chips and, in return for tacit support, they've persuaded our board to help them. Should our lads fail to deliver the goods post-PFS, the gloves will be off again.

ssmith, my guess is this is the path the board are now pursuing and that it would have been discussed in the negotiations with CGP. It makes perfect sense for CGP in as much as it gets them off the hook and would provide a good return whilst simultaneously giving them a free ride for the rest.
Obviously, it makes complete sense to wait for the PFS before serious discussions start and hopefully we will be in a stronger position after that point.

Exactly what I've been saying for ages. There's only one outcome here; a deal of some sort or sale to BHP, although where NCM fits into the scheme of things is another matter. My guess is they'll sell to BHP.
Certain individuals have never understood the fact that BHP have us by the short and curlies and have done ever since we took their money. Mind you, that's not to say they won't have to pay a reasonable price and there's plenty of upside to come.The dreams of production whilst under our 100% ownership are just that - dreams.
By far the best way to unlock value remains exactly the same as it has been for eons; sell Alpala and repeat the trick with our other assets.

a great start to the campaign although it would have been good to get grades simultaneously, but I think we all know what to expect today - the traders will sell and the sp will move down. Those of us who are happy to wait to see what the next six months bring will be given plenty of opportunities to add to our holdings.
This story is just beginning and, if the grades are as good as we hope, the upside here is considerable.
