Italian, I'm not sure the market has any more idea about what's actually happening on the ground than we do, so I'm not sure your first point is likely.
Additionally, I consider our current sp 'stability' (I use that word advisedly) to be not particularly robust. The share is incredibly sensitive to very small buys and sells - I reckon a few of us on here could move it easily- so predicting a level of stability pertaining for any length of time may be futile.
As for your last point, I very much hope you're right.

DM, agreed. The company really is giving the impression the SR is receiving 100 % focus at the moment, which is no bad thing, but it does make you wonder what our employees are doing with their time.
The stated ambition of conserving cash means cost savings and it would be interesting to know where those savings are being made and what the implications are. As it stands, we're in the world of speculation...again!

Isn't it conceivable that we will not get any interesting news until the SR release, which could be end June? Is there any exploration going on which will produce drilling results? The DFS appears to have been abandoned, so what else could there be?
I suppose it's possible there may be some more corporate restructuring, but I think it's more likely we'll hear about that when the SR is produced. A new CFO perhaps? Some overdue TR1s? Personally, I'm not in the camp which thinks a deal will be done before the SR, but that's only a guess.
In other words, I'm not really expecting anything for a couple of months, but I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. And yes, DBW, the Fawzi situation is a mystery.

Listening to the company in the past was a totally futile exercise. Nothing they said has come to pass, particularly the production guff.

It's worth having a look at the Directors page on the web site. Each bio refers to 'wealth of experience' blah, blah.
I'm sorry to say these people must NEVER be allowed anywhere near a commercial enterprise again. The company looks like it's toast and they've destroyed your wealth in the process.
This is as shocking as the Quindell saga, with the difference being it has fallen like a pack of cards in one day...Quindell took several years.
This is a total scandal and I feel genuinely sorry for you shareholders.

I should add that in retrospect, the outfit which produced one on SOLG probably did us and the company a favour. At the time I was convinced they were talking nonsense, but eventually a lot of what they said appeared to be true and seemingly led us to a complete re-think - which was no bad thing.

Bozi, I've just seen the RNS and the sp appears to be recovering. Let's hope it continues to do so.
I'm in two minds about the various companies which produce these reports. On occasion they are spot on, for example QPP, where they definitely did the investing public a favour - or more specifically those like me who paid attention and sold. On other occasions it appears that they have nothing in mind other than disrupting the market for their own gain and as such are cheap and crude manipulators.
I'm not someone who believes short-selling should be banned, far from it, but when it's accompanied by this type of behaviour it does make you wonder.

ToS, if you have a dig around you'll find the relevant reg. Purchases/sales have to be reported even if the percentage holding remains unchanged.

ToS, an entity which has a disclosable stake has to announce any purchase or sales regardless of percentage. So the buying in the market suggestion doesn't work. And I can't see NCM buying at the moment.
I haven't been paying that much attention to this, but am I right in thinking we're missing NCM, Norges and BR (they may now be below the threshold)
