IT is still screamingly cheap for an established respected and specialised Pharma with no debt and Phase2 clinical trial near end point. The respiratory tissue bank at Southampton Uni alone must be worth current MCap as it provides tissue samples from 2 generations. Massive if you are researching inhaled plastics, diesel etc

If you check all my posts here you'll find I've been shouting unassigned discount to prospects .......for a while when MCap fell to £5/6m. Still worth £1 and more on SNG001 successful end point imo.

Respiratory virus? Fully funded clinical trials under way with results due before June ......for £10m, debt-free and lung tissue database biggest in uk! Laughably undervalued even in the absence of corona virus!

Inhaled interferon trial in COPD could be anytime h1 2020. Positive results should push this vertical for increased protection against ALL respiratory viruses....draw your own conclusions. IMO £1 a share should be no problem....or takeover battle.

But have sold into strength of rise to realise excellent gain. I had my entry and exit points and have stuck to them with a 'reasonable holding'. Future bodes well but I expect consolidation at this level having met rather than [I did expect more] exceeding Cenkos forecast. Aviva is just too tempting as is SNG so I wish all well here. Excellent choice, but it has met my investment criteria and time to move on. Great board and great contributors.

Watched, waited, and just sold TP group holding into rise to invest here. Couldn't have wished for better time to transfer IMO. Too close to finals not to invest here - divi beckons.

As a long term advocate and invrestore here, the only thing that irritates me is lack of info/ consistency. We had trading updates on 15th Jan in 2018 and 2019 which was a real step forward. Come on TP, where is this years? Let's get the good news out there and maintain the momentum or we'll fall back......again. Frustrating!

So what do you get for £7m? A no-hope oil tiddler or start-up with blue sky dreams?
Or....
A debt-free established and respected UK Pharma company with huge big Pharma networking history. Probably the largest lung tissue bank and database in Europe with autopsy/tissue specimens covering 3 decades. Yes, vital for looking at eg plastic particles in lungs over time etc. Plus an expected substantial upfront cash payment when Pharmaxis out licences Synairgens LOXL2. (Deal expected very soon - Q1?). Plus the results of the current totally-owned Phase2 SNG001 trial, testing inhaled interferonB in COPD patients (already well tolerated and suspected to be effective in a previous trial). Plus a host of industry-respected peers.
What the hell am I missing here because I am mystified having been invested in the wider market for nearly half a century...........

Shows flu still increasing in community so likely that patient dosing will complete early and timeframe will be shortened towards Q1 for results rather than Q2. I expect positive update soon and subsequent rerate. AstraZeneca must surely have made a bid for the Woodford shares at this level but I suspect vendors realise true value and are awaiting events. Exciting times as Pharmaxs deal could ignite at any time.

Operational
· Phase II trial of inhaled interferon beta (IFN-beta) for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) patients progressing well, with four new sites added in 2019
· At 30 June 2019, 43 confirmed virus-positive patients had been dosed. At 27 September 2019, this had increased to 55 patients and we now have over 200 patients who have passed screening and are in the pool waiting to develop cold/flu symptoms and provide the remaining 65 dosed patients to meet our target of 120. The trial is expected to complete dosing in Q1 2020, with results available in Q2 2020
· In July 2019, a blinded data analysis showed that respiratory viruses were having a significant impact on the COPD patients enrolled in the trial when they got cold/flu infections, providing an opportunity for inhaled IFN-beta to reduce symptom severity and show clinical benefit
· We are also engaging with different clinical teams to evaluate the potential of IFN-beta in many other patient types who become severely ill with these common, and normally benign, respi

As Richthenewbie and I have repeated for months, the current £7m MCap woefully undervalues all the IP here. A pending Pharmaxis deal for LOXL2, an unequalled size/variety lung-tissue library at Southampton Uni PLUS a near-completion Phase 2 trial for B-Interferon in COPD.............all for £7m????? Realism is starting to hit home here. This share is ridiculously cheap. The tissue bank alone must be worth that!

I think you'll find the rise is due to a focus on defence stocks prompted by middle east events, the fact that the RN has deployed submarine units to the area..............plus the fact that TPG is massively undervalued and geared to the whole sector.
